This is a nice hotel but it seems to be on a budget that is passed on to the customer. There are only the basics and sometimes those are limited or missing (ie toilet paper, towels etc). If you ask they will bring it but you always have to ask. Our reservation included a breakfast buffet but that was discontinued. We were often overcharged for items in the restaurant and if you want a good glass of wine that won’t happen. They were often “out off things”. I do believe it is a product of the lack of tourism due to the war. That being said the pool facilities are beautiful.
Very few staff members were helpful. Often giving incorrect change, stating incorrect prices of food on the menu, overcharging, etc. The first room we were put in was not at all what was shown on the booking and we had to ask twice to change rooms. AC in room only works part of the time and you have to get up in the night to turn it on again and again. Hotel states it has a free breakfast buffet but it was only available two of the days we stayed (we were there for a week). Restaurant is not good, often out of many things. It’s an issue to get a plastic cup or a takeaway container, even though they have them, they didn’t want to provide them to us. More than once did the restaurant charge us incorrectly as well as gave incorrect change. It became to the point where it seemed like a scam. The pool is open to the public so it’s often crowded and it’s only open until 6 pm which was really disappointing.
It is my second time staying at the ray hotel. I had alt of fun stuff Are amazing front desk,Restaurant, the whole stuff was perfect. Thank you for your hard work. Nawal Saab
I found the staff to be friendly, but the one thing that I did not like was how they did not honor my reservation that I made with Expedia. My reservation included a breakfast but upon arrival the hotel said that the price was not correct and I would need to pay for the breakfast. I had to find other means for food because the price for breakfast was way over priced.
Extremely overpriced Hotel
Rooms are super simple and small
Staff are not well trained,
I faced a connection issue with my credit card upon checkin and they spent the whole night calling me on the room.
Pool water is not clean
They should work harder on meeting the guest satisfaction!
I liked the cleanliness of the room. Could walk with white socks and they still remain white. Housekeeping even washed my baby’s bottle that I didn’t ask them to.
Extremely friendly staff, all of them. They work hard when the pool is packed and they never look tired. Always willing to help apart from doing their job. Very safe place as well. You leave your stuff at the pool or terrace and come the next day to find them. Leave your handbag and other belongings at the terrace and go to the playground, you come back to find them.
I would definitely come back and recommend this hotel, and especially that it is a decent family hotel. Good for children.

Disliked: Staff & service
Aba
Isolated in the mountains and no taxi knows directions. Service is poor. Breakfast though is good. No restaurant as claimed, but sandwiches. You have to go far for a good restaurant.
