The breakfast was amazing and pizza at the restaurant was good. So excited to see monkeys outside balcony. I saw more wildlife at Shana than at the park. I definitely recommend this place. "Hotel Lía was awesome! The hotel staff were very attentive, friendly, and hospitable. Communication was easy, this was a bilingual-friendly atmosphere. The hotel itself was very chic, clean, and inviting. Our room was the perfect size for a long-weekend getaway. The onsite restaurant and bar was delicious! We ate all different meals and did not have a problem with any, beautiful plating was especially nice! The drinks were delicious, fresh, and beautifully crafted. Overall, we had a great experience and hope to be back again!"

"The El Faro Containers Beach hotel isn’t on the beach (5 min walk) but is built into a steep hill -- so steep, they offer free golf cart rides up and down to access. The pools are nice and they provide beach towels. The hotel is built from old shipping containers, so the rooms are long and narrow. But they are nice and quite comfortable. The elevators are small and slow. Each room has an ocean view from its balcony. On check-in, they warn you to close your room door tight because the monkeys have figured out how to work the doorknob and get in to trash your belongings. I saw a monkey on the roof right outside my hotel window on the day I checked out. Quepos is a short drive away, and there are lots of restaurants, services, and things to do in the Manuel Antonio resort area. "
