The house is comfortable and the pool lovely and even for swimming. The owner is extremely helpful and all his information and tips given were very useful. Many restaurants shops nearby in the area and beautiful beaches. We stayed a week which was wonderful. Would definately like to come back"

"I had such a lovely stay at this cute little studio in Puerto Carrillo. The space was cozy, clean, and had everything I needed for a relaxing getaway. The real highlight was the shared pool—perfect for cooling off after a day at the beach or just lounging with a book. The neighborhood felt safe and peaceful, and it was just a short drive to Playa Carrillo, which is absolutely stunning. If you're looking for a quiet, charming spot to unwind, this is it!"

"Our host Jason went out of his way to ensure we had a good stay at his place. We had support in getting to use a local pool, with groceries and transportation to our next location to mention a few. "Property is amazing and private. The beach access is great as well as the surf. WiFi was fast and much needed since the areas cell signal is abysmal. Roy was great with the check in process and making sure we were updated prior to arriving. Heads up, make sure you’ve got WhatsApp installed prior to arriving. Seems to be the best means of communication with the property. Plenty of restaurants and bodegas within walking distance. We’ll definitely stay again when we return to Santa Teresa."

"The room was beautifully designed. The place is quiet and sleepy, great for solitude and peace. The area is a little tucked away from any shops or nightlife. But you will still find the basics here such as great food, convenience store, grocery, ice cream, pub, beach."

"Always my go to place to stay if it’s available. Wonderful staff, food and location! I love that I can never leave the resort but still have an amazing time after it rained the entire time my previous visit. And even better to come back to after a day out playing in the area and relaxing on the beach for sunset while enjoying one of their many cocktails. It is also reassuring to see the same people working there year after year."

"This is our Second time staying here. This time was an unexpected trip with no reservations made. Husband is handy capped and they were very professional and helpful in assistance of golf cart rides back and forth to car. Front Desk guys were very friendly and professional and very quick to reply via whatz app with any questions. Highly recommend the stay and ask for a water view! The view is beautiful! Rooms are always clean and the pool is amazing!"

"SOLO TRAVELER REVIEW OMG where do I even begin. this place is indeed as wonderful as it looks and as amazing as the other reviews state it is. the staff all knew me by name literally within the first day. this hotel has an energy that allows your nervous system to completely relax. the aesthetics, the lighting, the music. as a solo traveler without a vehicle, the shuttle was perfect, it leaves from the hotel every hour on the hour from 8am-6pm and it has I think 5 stops around guiones and playa pelada. I also walked a lot which was fine and took lots of tuk tuks! (local "taxis"). The daily yoga classes were so lovely and grounding, and wonderful for all levels, even beginners. The daily breakfast was great, lots of options, and the included OJ was 10/10. Overall this hotel exceeded all my expectations and thank you to all the staff! Only thing I could say is that I wish the staff had name tags because they all remembered my name but I could not remember all theirs : )"
