"Let me start by offering a major caveat. The first three days we were at the hotel, the hotel was cleaning up from having its compound flooded. It was not obvious how rare an event or happens frequently due to poor construction. Had the hotel done anything to admit that it was having difficulty or to try accommodate the great inconvenience caused by the number of services made unavailable due to the flooding, I would likely rate the resort higher.
