"We had a delightful two night stay at the Nisanyan Hotel in Sirince while traveling with our daughter in Turkiye. The hotel is like something out of a dream-- so charming, super unique stone constructed buildings and lovely grounds with scented herbs and flowers popping out of every nook and cranny. The marble bottomed pool was a special delight after a hot day of walking at Ephesus.
Our room was set up well for a family: a restored cottage with two sleeping areas and a hammam style bathroom. Our daughter pronounced it her "favorite place we've stayed," on a nearly month long trip. It really is one of the most unique hotels I've ever experienced.
The staff is also amazing, so kind and accommodating from the moment you arrive to when you depart. When we needed to leave early to fly out the next day from Izmir, they made us a breakfast to go and offered to help us with our luggage.
The restaurant at the Nisanyan is exquisite-- we ate their two nights in a row because the food was so delightful, including unique vegetable meze we didn't see other places in Turkiye and a melt in your mouth beef stew made in a clay pot.
If you have time, I also highly recommend the cooking class with the owner. She is a gem and we learned much about the unique and delicious cuisine of the region. In all, the only mistake we made was only staying two nights at this little slice of heaven in Sirince. I hope to return to the Nisanyan Hotel one day soon."
