This beautifully renovated motel from the 1950s has a summer camp theme that's the perfect blend of nostalgia and whimsy. So much thought was put into the design; anywhere your eye lands there will be something cool to look at. The rooms were super comfortable, adorably decorated, and absolutely spotless. And the staff was awesome, too! I was traveling solo, and both Zach at checkin and Joe the next morning were super welcoming and friendly. I literally couldn't have asked for anything more — except for maybe a random moose sighting on the lawn, which, if they could have arranged for me they probably would have."

They also provided local pamphlets and maps of activities, restaurants and tourist places to go. The hosts were pleasant and welcoming along with their two dogs. "
