Sitting just 2.5 miles from Bamburgh, this Grade II listed former maltings mill is a bird watchers paradise sitting in an enviable position within the Lindisfarne National Nature Reserve. Set in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this is a special place where you can wander for miles on stunning sandy beaches with your four legged friend, or simply relax from the comfort of your armchair and watch the comings and goings of life on this incredibly rich, vibrant bird sanctuary.

Presented in a classic contemporary style, the wonderful open plan living area has a light airy feel with a double height ceiling which adds to the sense of space. Flowing into the warm and ambient dining and kitchen area, this is a sociable space for entertaining or precious family together time, whilst a perfectly positioned telescope allows guests to take in the panoramic views over Budle Bay or a sublime evening sunset.

The three bedrooms feature a bright fresh colour palette to create a restful, calming space, including a comfortable master bedroom with top of the range mattress and high quality en-suite facilities.

ACCOMMODATION
This is a third floor penthouse apartment sitting in a Grade II listed former maltings mill. There is a secure entry system as well as a lift for ease of access. The accommodation sits on one floor.

Bright open-plan sitting room/dining/kitchen with two large sofas and chairs, feature fire, 50" Smart TV, Bose and Wilkins docking station, small selection of books . Two windows look out over Budle Bay offering fantastic panoramic views and spectacular birdwatching opportunities. There is a telescope and binoculars which guests are welcome to use.

Dining space with table and seating for six.

Kitchen is well equipped with electric oven with ceramic hob, large fridge/freezer, integrated dishwasher, microwave, washing machine/dryer.

Bedroom one with 5’ king size bed, double-height ceiling, wardrobe with drawer space.

En-suite bathroom with shower unit, heated towel rail, basin and WC.

Bedroom two with 4’6” double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, Sony radio cube.

Bedroom three with two 3’ twin beds, double-height ceiling, wardrobe.

Family bathroom with large shower unit with rainforest head, heated towel rail, basin and WC.

OUTSIDE
There is a communal garden space to the front of the property overlooking Budle Bay.

PARKING
There is parking in the courtyard to the front of the mill building. Extra provision is available to the rear if required.

BABIES & CHILDREN
A travel cot and highchair are available on request.

DOGS
One well behaved dog is welcome at Budle Bay Loft at a charge of £15. The owners may consider an additional dog by request. Dogs must be kept to the main living space only; are not permitted on the beds or furniture; and must not be left in the property unattended.

GUEST AMENITIES
The beds are made up with high quality Egyptian cotton bed linen. Two hairdryers are supplied. Luxurious bath sheets, hand towels and guest toiletries are provided.

Fabulous!

Fabulous views of Budle Bay from 3rd floor loft, tides, birds, sunrise, sunset. Fabulous modern apartment in 18th century historic building. Fabulous location to Holy Island, Bamburgh Castle, Bamburgh Beach, Farne Islands and many other must see places. Would definitely stay there again!

Can't imagine a better base to explore this stunning area

Immaculately clean, stylish and spacious (even more so than the pictures suggest) yet cosy apartment with unspoilt views across Budle Bay. Brilliantly equipped, everything we needed and more. A very generous and thoughtful welcome hamper and fridge essentials were provided. Very comfortable bed and complete silence gave us a wonderful night's sleep. Modern, stylish bathrooms with hot, powerful showers. We started every morning looking out over the bay with the provided telescope and binoculars - so much rich wildlife to see. Easy to find with plenty of stunning walks nearby. Just a short drive from the A1 with Lindisfarne and Bamburgh within easy access. Handy bus stop outside the apartment for getting up and down the nearby coast. Overall extremely high quality apartment... Cannot recommend highly enough. We hope to visit again very soon.

Bird watchers paradise

A Perfect spot for birdwatching, aided by the fantastic telescope. Excellent location close to Bamburgh Castle, Seahouses for boats trips to see the puffins, Lindesfarne & beautiful wide sandy beaches. Modern property, well fitted out.

Great location but needs more attention to detail

Lovely apartment with great views towards Holy Island. Just a few points that the owners need to be on top of. For example cleanliness could have been better and there were a few things that were broken and did not work. Did not really affect our enjoyment of the stay hence high score. Pointed out deficiencies to management and owners offered a discount on return visit. I think that the faults would be rectified soon.

Great place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay at Budle Bay. The apartment had great views, and had great facilities. Great location as we were a short drive to Bamburugh and also short drive to Holy Island. Wish we could have stay longer.
