"We only ended up staying 1 night here due to last minute changes in travel plans but our stay was lovely. It's in a peaceful area of Nuwara Eliya and just a short ride into the main part of the town. Vinsan was a great host. He was very helpful and even prepared our 15 month old little boy his own special breakfast (without us mentioning it or asking) and our breakfast was ery nice. He dropped us off in his Tuk Tuk to the station at Nanu Oya in perfect time to catch our train. Would recommend....

"We had a lovely one night stay at Ferncliff, it was just lovely and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend as a very well run ‘b&b’ type hotel but much more luxurious. Bernard in particular was fantastic, especially his cooking — we had both dinner and breakfast there. Very glad we chose this over the ‘grand hotel’ in the end. "

"Huone oli harmiksemme täysin eri kuin kuvissa. Huoneessa ei ollut lämmitystä, joten siellä oli hyytävän kylmää ja kosteaa. Huone oli myös likainen ja sieltä puuttui mm vessapaperi. Aamiainen oli yksi paistettu kananmuna ja leipää. "

Om morgenen våknet vi ført til bønnerop fra et buddhistisk tempel (magisk stemning), deretter en minaret og så til sang fra skolen- det var bare en av mange ting vi likte med dette herlige stedet. Villa Perpetua leverte på alle områder."

"I booked this cottage due to its high rating in Expedia. However, my experience was not as good as other same price range hotels I stayed in Sri Lanka. There was about 20 flies welcoming us that took hours to get rid of them. The facility it self is not bad but needs more effort in maintaining the facility and welcoming the guest. The breakfast was the same for two days and there was no excitement. Taste was not good as well. Since the cottage is maintaining the high rate, management might...

"Ground room with window looking into kitchen. Musty damp smell. We looked at upstairs room which were basic but they were booked. Owner and staff didn’t speak English. I think more designed for locals. Decided not to stay- no refund granted. Found a brilliant replacement. The princess bungalow in town "
