"The cottage worked well for us, and Michael was very helpful - brought more spoons and water when needed etc. We liked the low key nature of Caye Caulker but having come from another Island where the children could play and swim freely, the pool at the cottage was too deep and coated in sharp concrete that caused grazes, and the only place to swim on the Island is the split where the music was so loud at the weekends- so I’d recommend for adults and backpackers but not really for children."

" Very nice cabana with big fridge, 4 min walk to the beach and bars. With a store offering beer and soft drinks and sundries and more. Hosts Mr Ed and Lynn were super gracious hosts. Did I mention beautiful sunsets?"

"Moody blue cottage was the perfect fit for us. If we come back to caye caulker, this is where we want to stay. Every thing about this property was great. Be sure to arrange snorkeling trip with Francis and wish we had known that we could arrange fishing with him before booking through a local company. He is very knowledgeable about the island and marine life."

"We went for spring break and daughters 16th birthday trip. April 2024. We had never been to Belize but wanted a house and not in town. Well this is definitely not in town. 12 miles north along the coast, and secluded.(3 houses close by). House a little rustic but has AC and WiFi. Pool was nice to have though found couldn't really swim in ocean off deck. Was better to go up coast a bit. "The cottage was cozy and quaint it had everything we needed. The property was quite and not very far from the action. Having Harley and Bruno made us feel extra safe. Mike and Lily were so accommodating and gracious. They really made an effort to help us enjoy our stay. Gave us great tips on good restaurants and guilds for excursions. "We enjoyed the property. The bed was comfortable. The pool was nice and the dock and water so peaceful. We used the bikes to get to the southern island and to explore the northern island. We stayed just 3 days and were active on the water, with the bikes or in the village all day and crashing at night so the setting was good for us. "When visiting Caye Caulker, take my advice, stay at the Lily Pad. Mike and Liliana make you feel like their personal guests.
