"What can we say about this place? It was great. The staff were well accommodating and very friendly. The room was clean. The breakfast was good but the newest thing was the outdoor patio and the chairs out in the backyard. They were very comfortable. Highly recommend staying here. And if you have an electric car hybrid, they have a plug-in for it. You just have to ask them to turn it on and you can charge your car."

"The TV was very hard to operate & when shown still had no easy way to use it. The Breakfast was decent but a little skimpy and need more variety. 1 kind of sweet, 2 kinds of cereal, etc. Breakfast location also not convenient. Night check-in person very helpful and friendly. excellent."

"Our family enjoyed our weekend at the cabin. It was very easy to find (as I am terrible with directions), great location, and very accessible to the dock. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen is fully equipped. Plenty of room for the family to sit around inside and outside. The atmosphere at the marina was also very laid back, and it was quiet in the evenings. A very relaxing weekend."

"This cabin is extremely well thought out. Everything one would need in a home away from home. Mike responded to any questions quickly and was willing to get any additional item you might need to make the stay more comfortable. The decor is well thought out. There was more than enough space for 2 adults, 1 child and two small dogs. It was a pleasure staying here while in Tazewell to say goodbye to 3 recently departed loved ones. We highly recommend staying here. The price was reasonable. It was a pleasure to meet and speak with Mike. We only wish we could have met Bernice as well. Kim says the 82” TV alone was worth it - LOL. Thanks again for everything, Mike and BerniceFrom Marcia, Kim, Jayden, Immanuel and Seth too"

Houseboat Retreat on Norris Lake

"We had a great stay on this houseboat and would definitely stay again. The boat was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Our family loved the unique experience of staying on the water.The only area needing improvement is communication and check-in. Before our stay, responses to questions were slow, and we never received check-in instructions. After an 8-hour drive with three tired kids, we were getting concerned when we still hadn't heard from the host several hours after check-in time. We eventually stopped by the marina store and discovered the person working there was actually the host. Once we connected, everything was resolved quickly and the rest of our stay was fantastic.A simple automatic message directing guests to the marina office for keys and instructions would make the process much smoother. Other than that, we had a wonderful weekend and highly recommend this houseboat!"
