There are 4 total bedrooms with multiple bed configurations, ideal for families and groups – enough to sleep up to 12 guests comfortably.

- Double bed under an L-shaped loft with two single beds (great for a small family)

- Two sets of double bunks (this is where the kids will camp out, with plugs and lights for each bed)

Bedroom #4 (loft)
- Upstairs, the loft-style upper level offers a bedroom with a queen bed

Main Bathroom – Custom tiled full bath with shower / tub combo. Towels & linens provided

Lower Level Bathroom – A roomy full bath, featuring a stall shower. All linens and towels are provided.

Loft Bathroom – A roomy half bath with a view of the woods, conveniently located adjacent to the loft bedroom


OUTDOORS
A large deck sits high at the top of the hill and overlooks the forested valley below. On the deck, there`s room for dining and a large umbrella for the sunny summer days. There`s a grill for your use, along with plenty of other seating on the wrap around deck.

Parking for several cars is available only steps from the house (the driveway can be steep, so 4WD is recommended in the winter time).

In warmer months, enjoy endless outdoor adventures:
- Golf at nearby picturesque courses
- Hiking and biking trails throughout the area
- Climb to the top of Schuss Mountain for incredible views
- Scenic drives to Torch Lake
- Fall chairlift rides and color tours

When the snow starts falling, Shanty Creek transforms into a winter paradise:
- Schuss Mountain skiing & snowboarding is only a couple minute drive to the lodge - or, use the ski trail close to the house which is a couple minutes’ walk to the top; then the kids can ski all day and walk back!
- For even more skiing terrain, try Boyne Mountain - about a 35 minute drive away.
- Tubing for the entire family
- Cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and fat biking nearby
- Perfect home base for winter sports enthusiasts


THE POOLS

Your stay at Valley View includes complimentary access to some great pools to keep the kids happy 😊

- Summit Village Outdoor Pool: With a panoramic view of lake Bellaire (open from Memorial Day to Labor Day), you’ll love the view from the top!
- Summit Village Indoor Pool: Inside the Lakeview Hotel, this pool is open year-round and includes access to the adjacent indoor hot tub.

All are within a few minutes’ drive of the townhouse, and are accessed by key card.


OTHER RESORT AMENITIES
- Centrally located within the Shanty Creek / Schuss Mountain Resort area
- The Lakeview Hotel has a great fitness center / gym and is only a 5 minute drive from the property. The hotel sells reasonably priced day passes at the main desk.
- Lake & Beach Access: You`ll find shared access to the beautiful nearby lakes, including stunning Lake Bellaire and Torch Lake. Locations to public access, marinas and boat launch areas are provided to all guests.
- The Avalanche Bay Indoor Water Park at Boyne Mountain is only a 30-minute drive from the Townhouse. While you’re at Boyne, check out the world’s longest timber towered suspension bridge, spanning two of Boyne’s 500-ft peaks.
