"Our stay at Hotel Fiesta was exceptional! The staff, breakfast, pool, laundry service, housekeeping was wonderful! We are so grateful for the opportunity to stay at this hotel and to all the staff who made out stay one to remember!"

"This property is just a few blocks from the Charles Darwin Research property and to food/shopping on the main drag. Some staff spoke enough English to be able to communicate. Others not so much. Google translate worked well! My husband arrived here with a bad case of traveler's sickness. The gentleman was so kind to help us. He even had some meds we could get, allowed us to check out a little late, due to severity of his illness. They have filtered water available for drinking. Their morning breakfast (included with reservation) was nice for me (husband could not eat yet): fresh fruit, rolls, jam & margarine, eggs to order, ham, cheese, fresh juice/coffee/tea. They also had pourable yogurt & granola. Enough to get filled up on! Our kind clerk also called a cab for us when it was time to go. There is a little pool available for use in the courtyard. There is no elevator, so if you have trouble with stairs, ask for a ground floor room. Bed was comfortable. Facility is clean and well maintained. Felt safe there."

"All of the staff at the Royal Palm are amazing; they helped us to organize an excursion to North Seymour Island that we probably would not have considered, but ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. The weather in the hills during our stay was overcast, but was beautiful when we ventured to the pier. Maybe because of the time of year/weather, the pool and hottubs were really not usable (not clean or hot). The on-site cafe was fantastic. It was fun to see the tortoises that freely roam the property. My sister loved her relaxing massage (she is very picky, so this says a lot). One of the highlights of our stay was a 5-course dinner in the lava tunnel ~ DO NOT MISS IT."

"The resort is beautiful and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We ate at the restaurant a couple of evenings and the food was delicious! The breakfast wasn't included in our rate (and was $30 each to add), but there are great restuarants very close to the resort. Would definitely return!"

"We loved everything about Hotel Cucuve! The service is top notch. The beds and bedding so comfortable, slept great every night. The location is perfect, easily walkable to pretty much anywhere we wanted to go. Loved the terrace that was available for us to use by Bahia Mar. We spent a lot of our downtime there. Loved that they had filtered water available for us to fill our water bottles, saved us a fortune in bottled water! The breakfast was good too, cooked to order eggs every day. Everyone working there was so friendly and accomodating!"

"This was the perfect transit hotel. It is located 1.5 small blocks from the pier, where you pick up the ferry to San Cristobal. It is clean and spacious with a refrigerator and a view of the harbor and pier. The gentleman at the front desk carried all our luggage up and down the stairs for us, even at 6am! It was a very welcoming visit. "

"I had a terrible experience with Natura Gardens. I arrived at 2:30 pm to find no one there and no information on checking in or how to contact anyone. I waited 2 hours and then walked up the road to find help. I found a man who made a phone call and said someone would be over shortly. I returned to the hotel and after 45 minutes a couple showed up. It was 6:30 pm and I was very hot and frustrated. I don’t speak much Spanish and they didn’t speak English but eventually they called someone. I don’t remember the whole conversation but when it became clear that I was going to be left alone and have to look after myself, my frustration boiled over and I said I was not staying and wanted a refund. She said I would have to get my money back from Orbitz and then told the gentleman to drive me back to town, which he did. The hotel is very different from the description and pictures on the website. I don’t need a fancy hotel; I had been staying in places for $30 per night that were fine. I decided to pay more for a nice place but this was not it. The rooms were rather dingy and tired looking. The whole place was dusty and deserted. I am 6’ 3”, 250 pounds - I don’t scare easily, but this place gave me the creeps, reminding me of the motel in Hitchcock’s movie Psycho. I never received an apology or money back and Orbitz said they were not able to get a refund- it was not clear if she refused the refund or if they had not been able to reach her to even discuss it. "
