From the welcome to the departure, the staff genuinely couldnt do enough for you. The food was always of an exceptional quality, presentation, taste, quantity and flavour. We decided to go Bed & Breakfast and thought the bill at the end was very good value. payimg that bit extra for the drinks and eating where we liked at the buffet, bar, pool, room or at the Plantation restaurant made for a more flexible holiday. I would especially mention the staff at the plantation manged by Samjeeta and Radhua along with Rachel in the bar, they really made the holiday

Oppholdet på The Residence har vært en flott opplevelse. Rommet hadde perfekt beliggenhet med utsikt og direkte utgang til stranden og havet, i tillegg til å være stort og komfortabelt. Maten holdt høy kvalitet, med gode smaker og fin variasjon gjennom hele oppholdet. Det vi imidlertid savnet, var mer tilgjengelig informasjon om aktiviteter, menyer på de ulike restaurantene samt priser og behandlingstilbud på spaet. Alt i alt er dette et vakkert hotell med flott beliggenhet, og vi kunne gjerne reist tilbake ved en senere anledning.

Fantastisk smuk beliggenhed og super service

Fantastisk hotel ved paradisisk palmestrand med det lækreste sand på øen. Kæmpe pool anlæg og virkelig gode liggestole ved både pool og strand. Personalet var super imødekommende, vi vil især fremhæve Sam, der gjorde ophold på stranden til en luksus oplevelse. Gæster kan gratis benytte vand aktiviteter, som snorkling tur ved revet, glasbunds båd, vandski m.m. Glimrende gym med gode redskaber. Stort, rummeligt og rent værelse med udsigt til havet. Det var dejligt at der blev leveret gratis, filtreret vand på værelset hver dag, ligesom der var gratis vand tilgængeligt ved pool og strand. Alsidig morgenmadsbuffet med stort set alt hvad man kan ønske. De 2 restauranter byder på lækker og veltillavet mad. Den ene dog med pristillæg for en del retter ved halvpension.

Déçus par l organisation pas à la hauteur d'un hôtel de cette catégorie : pas d'explications sur les possibilités de déjeuner à midi ; faire payer l'eau plate à table alors qu'elle est gratuite en chambre ce n'est pas très vendeur ; personnel pas formé et prestation incomplète à la soirée tapas : la sauce pourtant mentionnant sur la carte ne figurait pas et les frites également indiquées dans la carte ne nous ont jamais été servies alors que les tables voisines les avaient. En outre, l'aplomb du personnel qui affirme que ce n'est pas dans le plat commandé est franchement insupportable. Nous n'y retournerons pas

Schönes Hotel im Kolonialstil, weitläufige Anlage an einem wunderschönen Strand wie man sich ihn in den Tropen vorstellt. Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, guter Service in allen Belangen. Gutes Spa mit großem Angebot an Massagen, Wellness- und Kosmetikbehandlungen. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Abendessen macht optisch ebenfalls guten Eindruck, ist aber mit mehr als 60 Euro/Person (ohne Getränke) sehr teuer. Wir sind lieber für deutlich weniger Geld in der Umgebung zum Essen gewesen, haben mehr Abwechslung gehabt und Lokal Spezialitäten kennengelernt.

Es war ein Traumurlaub. Schon bei der Ankunft beeindruckt die großzügige Hotel Lobby. Das Gepäck wird auf das Zimmer gebracht und das Auto geparkt. Das Essen ist sehr gut, das Frühstück aber eher auf französische oder englische Kundschaft ausgerichtet. Das Zimmer war groß und luxuriös. Der Service im Bedienrestaurant war der beste, den ich je erlebt habe. Vielleicht weniger wichtig, aber der Spa ist zwar sehr schön und groß, der Sauna und Dampfbadbereich aber leider dem Anspruch des Hotels unwürdig. Das Duschgel ist selten toll in einem Hotel, hier riecht es aber auch noch unangenehm. Alternativen muss man sich selbst beschaffen. Der Strand ist super und die inkludierten Angebote wie z.B. Schnorcheln auch. Die Hotelumgebung ist eher ärmlich. Will man sich wie in Europa fühlen, muss man in den Westen der Insel, was ca. eine Autostunde entfernt ist, wie fast alle Sehenswürdigkeiten. Man kann im Hotel auch Tagesausflüge buchen. Man muss sich nicht selbst in den Verkehr stürzen, der aber in der Umgebung nicht schlimm ist. Die Kleinbusse sind aber landestypisch eng.

The Residence has suffered from a lack of investment. Dining only 2 restaurants, service staff poorly trained. Maintenance needed everywhere. Only one tennis court accessible. Electricity kept tripping, disappointing. Department drive in one so bar prices and a la carte dining over priced. Buffet quality good but repetitive. A week is enough.

Such a nice place with wonderful environment and good service. The food is a big variety and all dishes are so delicious. Very clean. The shop on property is also a good place to look around, most commodities are priced reasonably. The hotel is a little far from airport but they can arrange a taxi with fair charge. Don't miss the stunning sunrise on beach!
