"Our host was very helpful even making last-minute reservations at a 5 Star restaurant. This is a country home with all the charm. We had all the basic needs and it is a short drive to stores and restaurants. There are some steps to get to the bedrooms. Soap and Shampoo are bring your own. All linens and towels were provided as was a fully functioning Kitchen. If you need ice for cocktails buy it before you check in. Highly recommend if touring in this Wine region."

"This is a beautiful old chateaux-style building, which is owned and run by the family who live there. Sandrine and Frank are both excellent hosts and very friendly and welcoming. The location a beautiful country setting, next to vineyards. It is around 5 miles from the nearest large town. We decided to go out for the evening to the local town and Sandrine was so helpful in booking us a taxi and restaurant. One small tip - if you go into town it is best to drive yourself as the taxis are expensive. The breakfast was a selection of croissants and bread and lovely homemade jams and honey. We stopped here as a stayover on a much larger driving tour of France and had a great stay and thank Sandrine and Frank for their excellent hospitality. We totally recommend this as a place to stay. On our departure Sandrine recommended a place to stop at, called Mount Brouilly. We drove up there (around 10 miles away) and the views of Beaujolais were amazing."

"Start to finish, excellent. We were the only UK car there, which is always positive. Great test of the french language, they spoke English too however only found that out later!"

"Enjoyed a pleasant two night stay here. With some advanced notice, we were able to arrive late and check in the following morning. The room was comfortable for my family of 5 and Herve served a fabulous breakfast for us each morning. Herve provided us with a map of Lyon and circled some places we should visit for a daytrip into the city. Upon our return that evening, we walked into the courtyard and were treated to a perfectly clear sky with hundreds of stars. Herve told us the following morning that was a rare occurrence but a benefit of being out in a rural area. "
