Although raining nonstop, the cozy home was a perfect refuge. The woodstove was crackling, the kitchen was well stocked and hearing the rain on the roof was lulling.
We stayed at this property for a quick family getaway with our newborn baby, the kitchen was well stocked for us to cook in, the washer/dryer was an awesome added amenity with a newborn who goes through multiple outfits a day, and we loved having some relaxing time in the hot tub after bedtime! The property was even better than the listing showed, we’d absolutely stay here again!
We had a great and relaxing time! Kitchen is well stocked and home is clean inside and out. We were able to operate the grill and hot tub easily. Would definitely stay again!
We really enjoyed our stay and this place. Beautiful area, lots to do, great mountain biking, found a wonderful spa in Ferndale (Flow Motion), and everything we needed - washer/dryer, cooking items, comfy beds and linens, all great!
the property was absolutely fabulous! we loved the hot tub, surrounded by trees with gorgeous sunlight filtering in. the place is pet pet friendly and has treats, bowls, and a dog bed, so thoughtful! we will absolutely be coming back :)
This cozy, A frame cabin had everything we needed for a getaway for some R&R. The hot tub on the deck was wonderful and offering all the TV streaming options, plenty of towels, cookware and supplying cider, hot cocoa etc was a lovely touch. We’d love to stay again!
The property is just as is pictured. A beautiful A-frame in the woods with a nice hot tub on the back deck. Really close to town for groceries and close to the lake for a cold plunge. We hiked and hot tubbed and had a wonderful time
For anyone wanting to experience the Pacific Northwest vibe, this cozy little cabin in a quiet, wooded, hillside community is the place to stay. Feels remote but only a short drive alongside a serene mountain lake to and from all the places to eat and things to do in and around Bellingham. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. The hosts are very attentive and accommodating.
My fiancé and myself got away this weekend to celebrate her birthday and celebrate life. We had just gotten really happy and positive news from a previous surgery result and want to celebrate. The house was perfect. Clean, organized. Bathrooms were a little tight but tubs were huge. Tubs probably need non-slip stickers in them because they can be slippery and cause someone to fall. The only thing that would have made the weekend perfect would have been cooperative weather. Rained a lot and could not enjoy fire pit or hot tub outside. I believe plastic roof above hot tube is leaking some …We enjoyed the home and will come back again when the weather will cooperate for us.
We had an amazing time staying at this cabin! It was just the two of us and our little corgi pup, and everything exceeded our expectations. Even though the weather was rainy, we really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub under the covered patio in the evening. With the rain pouring down, surrounded by the calmness of the trees, and the warm glow of the house lights, it was the perfect atmosphere to unwind.
The cabin itself was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were very attentive and communicated everything clearly. In the mornings, we drove into town for some coffee, and our dog loved exploring the lodge and the surrounding area. We grilled sausages, played board games, and had a great time just enjoying a quiet and cozy evening together.
At night, it was perfectly silent, which made for a very peaceful sleep. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to stay if you’re looking to relax and recharge. We would definitely love to return!
Great location. Watch out for the steep stairs & small bathrooms
The rental is as described with a couple of exceptions. It is nestled in the woods, and the trees/landscape are beautiful. The rental is in an active neighborhood.
The walk down to the rental is a little steep and long - this might be a challenge for some. In fact, the entire rental might be a challenge for some - both bathrooms are really small, stairs are steep, and the bedrooms are also small.
There is a large deck and a covered hot tub (we didn't use it). The fire pit was relaxing, and there was plenty of dry firewood. There are two small wood benches by the fire pit (no chairs).
The kitchen has everything you'll need, and the living room is cozy with large open windows looking out to the deck. There is another room downstairs - it has a couch, a TV, and the washer/dryer.
The owners were very responsive and accommodating. Overall, the rental is as advertised. The steep walkway, stairs, and small bathrooms may be a challenge for some. Great launching pad for exploring the area.
An absolutely charming cabin in a lovely area. It served as the perfect home base to visit friends, it's close to several outdoor adventures, and a great vibe for chilling with a movie at night.
We loved this cabin. It's beautifully updated, with nice, careful features. It's conveniently located near excellent hiking and water sports opportunities; as well as a small grocery and a couple of restaurants. We will be back!
We had a great long weekend stay at the cabin. It was very well appointed with everything we needed to cook and be comfortable. The hot tub was very clean and ready to use. It is in a residential neighborhood about a 15-20 minute drive from town but was very quiet and felt like a true get away. I would book again!
A very nice home tucked away in its own oasis!! The home is secluded in spite of being in a neighborhood. It is surrounded by trees- feel like you are in the woods! Ample of space with two full bathrooms, stocked kitchen, great beds and a wonderful hot tub. A good location to visit Mt.Baker/ north Cascade and Bellingham. We had great communication with the owners. These were the hikes that were great: Maple Grove, Oyster Dome, Thunder knob and Church Mountain.
6 great days! excellent appliances and linen/bedding, well equipped kitchen and "Hot-Tub"; First choice rental when returning to Bellingham...my son and family live in Bellingham...we live in Ohio
We loved our stay. The cabin is fully equipped and has everything you need—and more. I've stayed in many cabins, but none had a more well-equipped kitchen than this one. There are plenty of towels, and the communication was amazing.Things to consider: The cabin is located in a small neighborhood, so you can see and be seen by the neighbors, making it less private. There is no TV streaming available, which was a downside, especially since other cabins offer it. They do provide an EV charger, but there’s an extra charge for using it.

A Frame near Bellingham
House was clean and and check in was easy. The bathrooms are tiny so it was hard to get ready. First day was awful cause neighbors were cutting down trees. Overall the house was nice but I am not sure if I would stay again. I found the house expensive for the size.
