"Lovely gite in a lovely area. We particularly enjoyed going to the port to read in the shade and enjoy a drink in the bar/restaurants. Plenty to do and see in the local area with La Rochelle and Bordeaux within 90 minutes to go further afield. Jo was very welcoming and helpful, being only 20 minutes away if needed"

"Fabulous 3 bed gite with a large pool, air con, fast wifi, outdoor games and UK tv channels. Great for families. Handily placed - 30mins to Royan, 40 mins to Cognac, 50 mins to Bordeaux. Catherine, the hostess, couldn't do more for us. We had a great time (despite the weather) and would heartily recommend this idyllic, quiet get-away."

"...hatten wir in der bezauberndwn Unterkunft von Madame Papa. Das Haus war einfach aber zweckmäßig eingerichtet und die Vermietern war wirklich super nett und sehr darum bemüht uns einen schönen Urlaub zu ermöglichen. Auch uns hat sie mit ihren selbstgebackenen Keksen verwöhnt. Der Pool war super und die Umgebung mitten in den Weinfeldern grossartig. Danke für den tollen Urlaub!!"

Alles da, was man zum Kochen braucht. Gut, ein scharfes großes Messer ist für Leute wie mich immer ein "must", aber für normale Bedürfnisse ist alles parat: Kühlschrank, Kochfelder, Backofen, Wasserkocher sowie Kaffee- und Espresseomaschiner, nebst Waschmaschine. "We had a wonderful 2 weeks holiday in Howard and Liz's gite. The gite had everything we needed and was extremely comfortable to stay in. The pool and pool area was superb, the lunch/dining area was idyllic with tables sat between two rows of lavender bushes and the views across the estuary were amazing. Howard and Liz are an incredibly welcoming couple with a great knowledge of the surrounding area. We would definitely recommend anyone thinking of booking into the gite."

"Monique and Michel were fantastic hosts - warm and welcoming when we arrived late in the day. We stayed in the attached cottage and we welcomed the fresh croissants and bread in the morning. Even though there are other properties attached and b&b guests it was still so peaceful, the gardens and outside spaces were amazing and offered not only plenty of spaces to sit but were so beautiful to be in. We loved the swimming pool and sauna - again the spaces were well thought out and were harmonious...

"We weren’t disappointed by this property at all. We stayed for 3 nights while attending a wedding . I will say that this place while soundproofed, is not quiet, you can hear people in other rooms. The beds could be a bit more comfortable too. Other than that, our room was clean, the staff were friendly and spoke English. The location is beautiful, we loved Jonzac and would return. "

Annie nous a fait un accueil chaleureux et nous avait proposé tout un panel d'activités/restos en amont de notre séjour. Appealed to owner who agreed to reduce but still had to leave a large amount in cash. Owner pointed out it was in his conditions.
