"We stayed here on a family vacation with our kids and their 9 month old child. The resort had a pack and play available as well as fridge and microwave. The front desk staff was very accommodating and helped arrange taxi service to the Mayan ruins and calico jacks for zip lining. There are several dining options within easy walking distance and we felt very safe in the area. Residents of the area are very warm and welcoming. The pool bar was a welcome sight at the end of a busy day. "

"Mystic River Resort feels like you are staying in the Congo with an amazing staff, food, drinks, and rooms. The rooms do not have AC so we recommend staying here in the winter/spring unless you are used to the humid heat. The excursions available all around are awesome! And the food/drinks within town are amazing and CHEAP! We will definitely be back to the resort in the winter for a cooler experience as we see more temples."

"I loved staying at Falling Leaves! Paula was so kind and made sure we had a comfortable stay. She was always in contact with the drivers who took us to our tours, and she made great suggestions for our trip. The property itself was so inviting and peaceful, I felt like we had our own oasis! The room was just what we were looking for - tons of space with a roomy bathroom and shower with great temperature control and water pressure. Their restaurant and the staff were very accommodating, and they made our stay very enjoyable. The Cahal Pech ruins are a two-minute walk from the hotel, which was very convenient and fun to go to. "The property is beautifully maintained and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. It's a little farther out of the "city centre" but taxis are easy and cheap. The rooms were very clean, excellent water pressure, pool was clean and the onsite meals were delicious and authentic. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. "
