It was a wonderful hotel. Amazing breakfast. Eggs. Biscuits and gravy. Pancakes. Hotel staff was extremely nice. Cleaned our room everyday. Had black out curtains so the kids could nap during the day. Kids loved the pool. We will be staying there again!

We were staying at this hotel to visit our daughter in college. We wanted to bring our dog with us, and we couldn’t have been more impressed with this hotel. I couldn’t believe the number of animals that were staying there. I love that this hotel was so welcoming. They even had a resident cat that roamed around the lobby. I would totally recommend this hotel if you are traveling with an animal

My wife and I love historic hotels, and the Lafayette is over 100 years old. We had a king parlor suite on the 5th. floor with river view. It was very quiet and peaceful.
We had drinks on the rooftop patio while watching barges and river boats travel back and forth on the Ohio River.

This is a fabulous hotel to stay at. it is very close to the interstate but it is in a valley so there is no road noise at all! The staff was incredible and the room was fantastic.
I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place to stop when traveling.
It did have a slight odor upon my arrival, but i put a plug in air freshener in and it was gone. (this smell is just your usual hotel smell)
