"This is the perfect spot for a single person to get away from it all - or a very close couple. That, or it is the perfect spot for a strong hiker or a guest with a 4-wheel drive car. The characteristic that gives it the charm is that view. It is beyond impressive. Getting up to the cabin is not for the faint of heart. "Good value for money hotel. Good location close to the train station and the beach. Room was cute and clean with a very comfortable bed. Only comment is that some weird smell came from the bathroom pipes but other than that everything was good."

"Room was spotless, cleaned everyday, Wonderful location for old town and the beach with an excellent wine bar and restaurant in a 1 minute walk. Very relaxed atmosphere in the hotel. At first I thought why the pink colour scheme in the bedroom.. then swimming in the bay, looking at Menton Old Town, the penny dropped!! Breakfast was good and lots of choice - travelled many times in France and getting a good coffee and Orange juice is often a struggle, so a big thumbs up for that. Yogurt on tap was novel! Thanks for a great stay .. don’t often leave reviews but thought it worthy."

"From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the staff on site were simply FANTASTIC. The hotel was extremely clean and our room was perfect. Glass doors on the room's bathroom area was a tad weird for us, but we simply hung a dressing gown to protect privacy. The Japanese restaurant on site was perfect but there are so many other food and drink options, everyone will find something. We will certainly go back and would highly recommend the hotel. "

"Our second stay at Villa Genesis was just as wonderful as the first, and we honestly can’t recommend it highly enough. The hotel is beautiful, spotlessly clean, peaceful, and incredibly welcoming. From the moment you arrive, you feel genuinely cared for. Every member of the team goes above and beyond to make your stay special. A very special thank you to Daniel, who looked after us so wonderfully this year and last year. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine warmth are a big reason why we love coming back. We also had the pleasure of dining at the new restaurant opposite, Regina, and it was absolutely outstanding. The food was exceptional, the atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed, and our host Marco made the evening unforgettable. He was funny, friendly, attentive, and so easy to chat with—it felt like dining with an old friend while receiving first-class service. Villa Genesis is one of those rare places that combines beautiful accommodation with truly exceptional hospitality. We are already looking forward to returning again. Thank you to everyone for another unforgettable stay!"
