Room was clean, staff were friendly and helpful, wonderful to borrow hotel bikes and ride along the river into town and back. Pool is good, breakfast was 7 out of 10. The TV was not working and had to be reset but 3rd world no big deal, Only disappointment was the “free” water bottles. There were two in the mini fridge and two on the shelf about the fridge, so we swapped to have cool beverage. Apparently they are different sizes, so the HOTEL chose to charge us - the dollar amount is negligible but it leave as bad taste - BATE and SWITCH - rather a poor guest policy in my opinion.

We had a very relaxing stay. After coming from Danang it was very quiet and peaceful. Our room had a great view of the river. Good facilities. Great food at the restaurant and staff were helpful and friendly.

Staff are very friendly and speak english. They arranged scooters for us, which is great for going out at nighttime to the big local seafood restaurants. Breakfast is varied for all tastes, but like many hotel breakfasts we experienced in vietnam hot items are generally luke warm or cold. Coffee is excellent. Rooms are roomy and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

Booked interconnected rooms that were fine for 2 nights, quite spacious with views of river. Not a fan of the bathroom with clear glass to bedroom design but there was a blind. Hotel arranged an airport pick and helped with a stop at Vĩnh Tràng Pagoda. The car that collected us was on the older side/not very comfy/ not great air con/non tinted windows so not ideal for distance plus price was considerably more than Grab but for the convenience of a waiting driver we were happy to book. Grounds of hotel are beautiful on riverfront. Pool is lovely but hotel decor is dated. Hotel also caters for events. Thankfully over by 10pm but event we heard was ridiculously loud, just a guy shouting on a Mic for couple of hours, not even music! Trips offered via hotel were excellent, nice to see town, river, islands. Well organised, private tours at time to suit, great guides. Breakfast was ok, nothing amazing. The most disappointing part of hotel was the bistro (some organised tour groups had meals in restaurant - can’t comment on this) Bistro was separate area. Lots of staff and i’m definitely not saying everyone should speak english, but we seemed to confuse them with simple orders. We used phone/translation tool to try and explain a beef dish brought wasn't the fried pork as ordered, if guests are not understood they should utilise translation tools. Sadly, meals on both evenings were terrible, generally cold, wrong meals, very disappointing as nowhere else in walking distance.

Exceptional stay

Would definitely come back. Very comfortable room with stunning views of the river and sunset. Huge amount of thought has gone into the design for all types of guest. Food was good and we had everything we needed.

Loved the Riverside resort in Ben Tre! The staff were so kind, helpful and attentive. The buffet was fantastic. Free bike rentals made getting around town easy. Rooms were large, comfortable, clean. Wonderful stay, highly recommend! I will absolutely go back if I find myself back in Vietnam!

the hotel is good. we have ants on one of the bed. there was a letter on the desk stating that due to weather condition some bugs can be in the room. luckily it was only a couple and we did not see anymore. room was clean. the view of the river is awesome from the room. breakfast was good and have many options. I would rate this 4.3 out of 5. if there was no ants it would be 4.8.

Need improvement in facility maintenance

A worn down resort which once excellent place in Mekong delta became terrible facility after pandemic. A lot of holes without filling on the wall and not cleaning good.

Not close to city, ok service

The reception team was excellent. But everything went downhill from there. It's only worthy if you have a room with river view; otherwise, don't need to stay here. The room has ants and insects. Breakfast was ok, we were not allowed to sit/bring buffet food to the garden overlooking the river, but only a few minutes later the very same waiter brought buffet food to a couple sitting outside, they must be the owners. Except the reception team, all other staff just do their jobs, they are cold and not smiling. And the hotel is not close to the city center at all.
