"I loved that it was right next to the lake. But our room was clean and they had decent beds. I also appreciated a big size fridge to put all our stuff in for the night since i had a cooler with. I would love to stay there again."

There is plenty of space to accommodate a group across a variety of weather conditions. Access, location on the lake and proximity to a boat launch made for some enjoyable days out on the lake. "Our family absolutely loved staying at the Red Barn Lodge! Donna has truly thought of everything to make guests feel welcome and comfortable. The house was impeccably clean and well-organized.The attention to detail in the decor was impressive - from the beautiful woodwork to the thoughtfully chosen furniture, every element contributed to the lodge's warm, rustic charm. We particularly enjoyed playing cornhole (bags) in the spacious yard, which came as a nice surprise with the provided equipment.The location couldn't have been better - just a quick 10-15 minute drive to Walker, giving us easy access to town while maintaining that peaceful, serene atmosphere we were looking for. The property offers plenty of space for families to spread out and relax.Donna was an exceptional host, responding quickly to any questions we had and ensuring our stay went smoothly.We highly recommend the Red Barn Lodge to anyone visiting the area - you definitely won't be disappointed!"

"It is a nice rustic cabin to stay in, but it has the amenities you need, including good Wi-Fi - as long as a teenager doesn't unplug the router to plug in a fan. We used it as a base camp to fish area lakes, but it would be a good place to take a smaller outdoor oriented family. There's a lot of yard and a really nice lake with very nice sandy bottom and relatively good fishing."

"Randy and Shannon are the hostess with the mostest! They have two of the sweetest labs as well; Strider and D which our labs bonded with immediately. I highly recommend Last Cast Adventures as well, both Randy and Shannon took us catching and that's exactly what we did complete with a fish fry and fish to take home as well. What a visit and I can't wait until our next stay! "

"The house is large and comfortable. Fabulous kitchen with huge island. Kitchen furnished very nicely. Loft was very cozy & comfortable. Nice sized bedrooms & bathrooms. Master suite is huge. Great whole house sound system. House location made for easy access with minimal traffic. Not on water, but very short walk to nice beach/recreation area. Host communicated very well. Would definitely stay here again. "
