The Triton is an excellent hotel on the Boardwalk along the Mediterranean It provides excellent buffet dining for Breakfast Lunch and Supper A rooftop bar and a lower level bar with nightly entertainment Clean updated rooms with views of either the Mediterranean or The Mountains above Benalmadena I highly recommend

Fantastic refurbishment, plenty of seating areas, rooftop bar & pool area is fabulous. The only area that needs improvement & fast is the dining area, there's far too many diner's for the area & staff who are run off their feet, people bumping into one another with plates of hot food.

Clean, new hotel in a top location. Very friendly and ambitious staff. The guests are a well-balanced mix of Europeans, mostly from Spain, England, the Netherlands, Germany, and Denmark. The premium package is definitely worth it, as it grants access to an additional restaurant where things are much quieter. All restaurants offer a varied buffet with live cooking. The food is generally good, but there’s room for improvement. Drinks are not included with half board in the evening but are reasonably priced. At breakfast, drinks are included. Unfortunately, sun loungers at the pools become scarce on weekends, and queues start forming about an hour before they open (at 10 a.m.). The pools are closed before 10 a.m. – which is actually a good rule. The beach directly in front of the hotel is average, but the area north of the harbor is excellent. The surroundings are perfect for excursions, boat trips, and dining out. A direct bus into the city stops right in front of the hotel. I can highly recommend this hotel and would definitely book it again.

Turned out to be a great stay

We orderd a double premium room, and choose to pay extra to make sure we got a rom with seaview. At check-in we got a room at ground floor, with no seaview.We did not feel comfortable at all there. There were a lot of bugs in the room, and all we could see outside was trees and sunbeds.We complained the same night, but the hotel was fully booked, so there was no rooms left. We were told to ask again the next morning. And so we did. The manager said no, and everybody else in the reseption, exept from this nice lady Raquel. She really cared for us, and wanted us to have the best stay at their hotel, she worked very hard to get us a new room with a seaview. After a few hours, she managed to get us a new room, at 5th floor, and the seaview was amazing. All thanks to Raquel we had a lovely stay, and would defenetly come back.

Mooi en groot hotel. Wij hadden een standaard kamer gereserveerd maar kregen een upgrade. Alle openbare plaatsen (bars, restaurants, terrassen, zwembaden, lobby, …) zijn heel mooi, net en verzorgd met overal super mooi meubilair. Personeel (ook de poetsdienst, personeel in bars en restaurant, …) zijn Spanjaarden en dat geeft je een leuk gevoel. De bediening in het restaurant is perfect. Tafels worden heel snel afgeruimd en schoongemaakt voor de volgende bezoekers. Wij hadden half pension en konden het diner (wat standaard is) wisselen voor lunch mits je dit de dag ervoor aan de receptie meldde. Onze kamer leek op het eerste zicht heel mooi maar de afwerking was niet zo top. Recent gerenoveerd maar er waren zaken die mooier en verzorgder konden (deur lijst ontbrak, stucwerk niet mooi afgewerkt, …) maar wel heel goede en heel grote bedden (1,2 m breed per persoon) en mooi uitzicht. Hotel biedt parkeerplaats onder hotel aan (15€/dag) en dat was een grote meerwaarde voor ons Op straat geraak je heel moeilijk je auto kwijt. De dag voor aankomst kregen we een mail om al heel wat persoonlijke gegevens in te vullen waardoor het ter plaatse inchecken veel vlotter verlopen is. Aanrader om dit vooraf te doen. Wij hebben genoten van een leuk verblijf.

Facilities, position and price was fantastic would highly recommend. Only fairly big negative is the attitude of the staff in the sky bar, we were there 3 nights and every night zero friendliness, wouldn’t smile, borderline rude and couldn’t look like they hated their job more. Also the sky bar is screaming out for some music, atmosphere is dead. Other than that had an amazing time and would come again if those changes were made

De kamers zijn goed maar jammer dat je na enkele maanden na de vernieuwing als veroudering vaststelt. Niet goed afgewerkt door de druk die er wellicht op zat. De tuin rond het zwembad is ok. De gasten laten hun vuilnis slingeren en het hotel ruimt pas 's morgens op. De ligstoelen zijn her en der al wat vuil. Bovenal wel een correct en nieuw hotel.

Great 4 stars hotel, spacious, quiet and ultra confortable bedrooms. Modern bathrooms as well. The swimming pools are super clean, one is more for swimmers, another one for babies and the main one to chill. Overall, everything is still brand new / recently renovated in the property and in the rooms, you can't really complain about anything. Breakfast is quite good (but not amazing), but we've been there for 3 nights, let's say it was enough, as the food was the same every single morning. Staff is friendly as well. We saw a couple of entertainments in the evening, unfortunately it was quite poor I would say. Near the hotel, you'll find many tourist shops and restaurants on the main road along the beach, but besides that, the area doesn't offer any interesting cultural stuff to visit (but it's probably not what people are looking for in that city I guess). The beach in front of the hotel is far from the best, and you have to cross a little path to access it. Also on the - side, we were supper disappointed by the parking fees. We booked 2 rooms for 3 nights and paid 1.400€ for that. And we still had to add 15€ per day for the parking :s Same for the wellness access... it's an extra cost. At that price range, those kind of services should be included. Overall, the hotel itself is great, brand new and confortable, but at some point it's also missing a bit of a "soul". Good if you want to chill for a couple of days, or if you like the "all inclusive 4 stars" kind of places.

Very large hotel, not much for your buck. Struggled to find a sunbed. Miserable staff, not interested in helping and bar staff even worse. I would say 3 star hotel and we are thankful to only be staying one night. It’s right near the marina though so good location. Pools x 3 no adult only pool so if you’re looking for relaxation don’t book this
