"Pros: Wonderful house, pool, views, serene and peaceful. Had a very lovely 2 weeks here. Laura was fab, really helpful and communicative. All in all and fantastic 2 weeks spent here with the family. Cons: These are small things but worth noting. The drive up is very steep, not something that can be changed, but to be aware beforehand would be helpful. "Pros: The pool area was very close but it was too cold to use it. It was a 45 min walk into the main town which has very nice restaurants and bars Cons: We were moved from our original house to a similar one but the facilities were not very good with the on suite toilet leaking for three days and the other toilet unable to flush. "Pros: Villa was perfect, pool was perfect and the host was perfect. I have never before rented a villa that matched the description so perfectly. Not only that but the beds were very comfortable, the pillows were good and all the appliances and cutlery/crockery were spotless. The villa was spotless on arrival. "Pros: Het huis had een serre met een grote glazen pui waardoor je met de frissere avonden toch van een prachtig uitzicht kon genieten. Dit was echt een grote meerwaarde voor onze vakantie in april/mei. Vanaf 19.30u was het namelijk te fris om buiten te blijven. Cons: Om bij het zwembad te komen moest je via een mooie trap langs prachtige bloemen naar beneden. Met kleine kinderen of oudere mensen dus niet ideaal. Onze babyfoon redde het dan ook niet naar het zwembad toe."

"Our family, ages ranging from 6-69, found this house in Competa to be just perfect. There were so many nice spots on the property to eat and sit…when it was cold we had a fire, when warm we sat outside in a variety of places. Our son is a chef so we had memorable meals from the kitchen, both indoor and out. Rafa was extremely attentive, though we had no problems. The view, the village, the hiking was good for kids and adults alike. Highly recommended."

10/10 Excellent

"Absolutely lovely room, incredibly friendly staff, and my daughter adored the pool! The location worked well for us — while some of the popular attractions were a little walk away, taxis were very affordable and made getting around easy and convenient. Although the food at hotel restaurant was mediocre, it wasn’t an issue at all since Málaga offers such an amazing variety of fantastic dining options nearby — you’re truly spoiled for choice. Overall, the hotel offered outstanding value for money and was absolutely perfect for a family stay. We had a wonderful experience and would happily choose it again on our next trip to Málaga!"
