"Great parador in an amazing place"

"This is a very old fashioned hotel. Bit like staying in a museum. Booked this hotel as the reviews were good, not sure they are correct! One says its like home from home, not sure what sort of home they live in! Also its states offsite parking, reservations required. The only parking was a very rough car park. We were on a motorbike & secure parking is a must. Cant comment on the breakfast as we had to leave early. "

"Hotel located about 1.5 kilometers from the centre so a bit of walking required. Lovely swimming pool. Helpful staff. Nice large room, but neighbours from a bus tour arriving home at 1:30 in the morning, talking loudly in the corriders and letting kids run around also. Asked them to quiet down which they ignored."

"Hotel Palacio de Ubeda was a wonderful stay. Perfectly located to all around the area - walkable city. Staff were extremely friendly and assisted us when required. Highly recommended."

"This hotel is located in a tiny town amongst olive orchards with close proximity to Cazorla and the Cazorla Nature Park. It is a family run hotel, and the owner/manager goes to great lengths to make you feel more like a family guest in her home, than a guest in a hotel. The views over the olive groves from the room balconies are amazing! We also enjoyed a fantastic dinner in the hotel’s restaurant, and breakfast in the mornings. Maria, the host, is full of ideas of things to do and directions to get to them. We highly recommend this hotel if you’re going to be in this beautiful region of Spain."

"Pretty good value overall. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel had nice walkable streets nearby. Great little town. Breakfast could use significant improvement. Really very limited selection by Spanish hotel breakfast standards — didn’t taste fresh. Zero hot foods (e.g. eggs) and only two fresh fruits. Coffee machine looked modern but made bad coffee that seemed mixed with hot chocolate. "
