Central, comfortable hotel near MG Road

A conveniently located hotel near MG road and Brigade rd shops. Staff are friendly and helpful, especially housekeeping team led by Suresh. Rooms are comfortable and clean, and have mini fridge which is convenient. Breakfast variety is fantastic- enjoyed the freshly cooked options, clear veg soup, soy milk and yakult to keep stomach healthy. The only disappointing part of the stay was the airport transfer - which I booked in advance but never showed up. Apparently it was an issue between hotels.com and the hotel itself - which no one seemed to take responsibility for - but it left me waiting unnecessarily at airport until I had to organise another vehicle myself. Not the best experience after travelling on plane(s) for 22hrs prior.

The reception team was so supportive, caring and provided me outstanding service well beyond my expectations. Want to recognize the house keeping and people in the restaurant and they were fabulous. I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Vivanta by Taj on Residency Road. The central location, nestled in the heart of the city, made it exceptionally convenient for exploring local attractions, shopping centres, and dining options. Everything was within walking distance, which added to the overall experience. The service at the hotel was exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted warmly by Prince and Sanjay, who provided outstanding assistance throughout my stay. Their professionalism and attentiveness ensured that I felt welcomed and valued. I stayed at Vivanta by Taj on three separate occasions, each time for one night as stopovers between my travel destinations. The breakfast was a highlight of my stay. The variety and quality of the food were truly impressive, catering to all tastes and dietary needs. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was delightful. Special thanks to Rajesh and Jayden, who accommodated my early departure for a flight by ensuring I had breakfast before leaving. It was a delightful experience overall. - Upon arrival, I found the front desk staff to be incredibly helpful. Despite initially being told that a higher floor wasn't available, they went above and beyond to accommodate my request. After a short wait, they managed to secure a room on a higher floor, which I greatly appreciated. - The rooms were spotless and tidy, giving off the impression of being recently renovated. - Situated near the bustling Brigade Road, it offers easy access to the vibrant nightlife of the area. - Regrettably, I didn't have the opportunity to dine at the hotel's restaurants or sample their food offerings, so I can't provide any feedback in that regard. However, judging by the overall quality of service during my stay, I wouldn't be surprised if the dining options were equally impressive. - The hotel offers an abundant breakfast spread . Not only was the selection impressive, but the chef also personally checked on me during my meal, ensuring that everything met my satisfaction. This personalized touch truly made me feel valued as a guest. However, the selection of coffee can be improved.
