Ligger en spasertur unna stranden. Rolig hotell med hyggelig personell. Hotellet ligger også ikke langt fra restauranter/barer/offentlig taansport (buss). Vi bodde her kun en natt føe vi skulle videre og var fornøyde med det.

Nice hotel close to the beach

We stayed in this hotel for FIB festival as a group of friends. Location was perfect, close to beach, festival, restaurants. Rooms were very clean, mini-fridge could be arranged for a small charge. Some of the rooms had old-fashioned bathroom with awkward shower door. One of the rooms in our group had modern bathroom with walk-in shower. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good selection for breakfast, the only suggestion for improvement is to offer fresh meats and cheeses (not the processed ones). I would stay again in one of the rooms with updated bathroom.

Een heerlijk hotel.

Het hotel is gunstig gelegen t.o.v. stad en strand. Het beschikt over een ruime aangename parkeerplaats met veel schaduwrijke plekken. Verder ligt er mooi zwembad bij met heerlijke zonnebedden en loungesets waar het goed toeven is. De kamers zijn royaal en goed geoutilleerd. Het hotel beschikt over een goed gerund restaurant voor ontbijt en diner (buffet). We hebben van beide uitstekend genoten. Het personeel is uiterst voorkomend en behulpzaam. Het is een regelrechte aanrader voor een stop-over maar zeker ook voor een langer verblijf.

Familiengeführtes Hotel in Strandnähe.

Ich hatte ein Eckzimmer, was als Doppelzimmer zur Einzelbenutzung angeboten wurde. Ich fand das Zimmer etwas klein. Rund ums Bett gab es einen Gang von max. 1,10m Breite ( geschätzt). Der Fernseher hatte nur spanische Sender, es gab auch keine Englischen Kanäle. Dafür war das Internet recht schnell, ich weiß aber nicht, ob es daran lag, das das Hotel nicht ausgebucht, war, oder ob die anderen (meist älteren) Gäste es nicht benutzt haben. Gewöhnungsbedürftig fand ich die Essenzeiten: das Frühstücksbuffet öffnet ab 8:30 seine Türen, Abendessen ( das ich nicht gebucht hatte), gab es ab 21:00h. Gemäß Prospekt kann man einen Kühlschrank für 3,-€ / Tag buchen, Fahrräder ab 4,-€ /Tag. Wer mit dem Auto kommt, kann kostenlos parken, dazu muß man an der Rezeption einen Parkausweis anfordern. Knapp waren die Steckdosen. Am Schreibtisch gab es nur eine einzige, die eigentlich für eine Tischlampe vorgesehen war, die aber auch nicht eingesteckt war. Sollte man mehrere elektrische Geräte betreiben / aufladen wollen, so sollte man sich überlegen einen auch in Deutschland üblichen Schuko-Verteiler einzupacken. Zum Pool: der war sauber, durch die Lage kann es aber morgens und abends ( ab ca. 1800h ) zu einer kompletten Verschattung durch andere Gebäude kommen. Das kann je nach Saison aber auch ein Vorteil sein. Falls einer ans Meer möchte : der Strand in unmittelbarer Nähe hat groben Kies, zum feinen Sandstrand muß man ein paar hundert meter weiter laufen.

A week away in a part of Spain we did not know.

We decided on a holiday which was part beach part touring, this proved to be the ideal base, we travelled up to the Ebro Delta, and down to Valencia, with a day out in the beautiful town of Morella. The hotel is simple Spanish style from the 1970s or 80s refurbished around 15 years ago. The rooms are simple, with modern bathrooms, air conditioning an lots of storage space, there is a TV but Spanish language only, also they all have a balcony. There is a nice pool, which was quiet every day we were there at the beginning of June. It is a few minutes walk to beaches, and a little further to the sandy ones, bars and other restaurants. Unusually we decided on half board, the food is served buffet style, breakfasts are extensive and very well labelled for allergens. I’m Coeliac and the hotel made all of my evening meals from scratch (starters, mains and desert), as well as providing a varied gluten free selection for me at breakfast. The parking was free and plentiful but busy at weekends, in high season this may not be so easy. Highly recommended very friendly hotel.

Hotel muy bueno pero con cama nefasta.

Hotel familiar muy cómodo, con la gente muy agradable y muy pendiente. Piscina muy bonita, desayuno perfecto, muy buen sitio para aparcar el coche, baño correcto, limpieza impoluta.. pero.... la cama... de pensión de mala muerte. Horrible, te clavas los muelles y te hundes hacia el medio. Yo he estado 3 noches con mi pareja y a ambos nos dolía la espalda al día siguiente, no he descansado nada. Es una lástima, porque si no es por eso (algo básico en un hotel), el hotel podría ser de 4 estrellas. Y no es opinión personal, en el desayuno hablando con otros clientes nos han dicho lo mismo: que gran desayuno pero que cama tan mala....

Clean and cozy hotel with many buddha statues

One night stand on car ride to northern Spain. Very few other guests. May is not a high season month but maybe Benicassim is not well known tourist area, too. Pretty beach near the hotel. Basic breakfast OK:

Schön für Festival

Sehr hilfsbereites Personal. Zimmerwände sehr hellhörig. Frühstück super, könnte aber ruhig länger als bis 10.30 gehen. Lage zum Festival-Bus-Shuttle gut, zum Laufen bei der Hitze eher zu weit. Bus ist bequemer, aber nicht schneller da er eine grosse Runde fährt. Zurück mit dem Taxi perfekt.
