We got to the apartment and it was a lot bigger than we expected with a huge balcony. "Calypso apartment is in a very good location and easy to find. Once you arrive there are a ton of stairs, which is not super ideal for heavy luggage. "This is a lovely apartment with a beautiful view of the sea from the terrace. Communication was excellent, with offers of help from the start. We had a couple of minor issues which were dealt with quickly and effectively. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was adequately equipped for a holiday rental. A car is definitely essential to stay here, but there is parking and the nearest town is only a few minutes drive away along the main road. We had a very enjoyable relaxing stay. "

"Really nice convenient hotel. Reception really nice and helpful. Room clean. Room left unlocked by cleaner one day which wasn’t great. Thankfully nothing stolen. The pool bar is seperate to the hotel so you are not allowed your own food and drinks at the pool which wasn’t advertised and quite frustrating. The man at the bar was also quite rude and slammed a sign down next to us saying no food or drink. "

"Costa Botanica is a great hotel - it has good communal areas, bars and the choice of restaurants is really good. There are numerous pools and a private beach, so it feels like there is so much space, it’s never too crowded. The staff are also amazing, they never stop and really prioritise service. Where the hotel is let down is the rooms, they feel dated, damp and dark and really need an update. Hopefully the rooms get a makeover soon to really make this a 5 star resort! "
