"This rating mostly reflects the inaccurate or incomplete information provided on the VRBO listing. The place is very difficult and unusual to locate, especially in the dark. Check in instructions lacked clarity and failed to note many important things: - The exterior of the building is not lit, making it nearly impossible to see signage- the remote control for parking confusingly opens and operates two different parking barriers for two completely separate parking areas. Despite this, it is...

Parador de Vielha

8/10 Good

"Lovely location and friendly staff. But - weird how restaurant not used for breakfast- instead we are in a different room. And PLEASE can you have more than just the one member of staff in the bar! Poor man was doing everything on his own!"

Spa Chalet, Skiing and Hiking, Accommodates Up to 17 People

10/10 Excellent

8/10 Good

"It was probably the nicest hotel in Amelie-les-bains, which has few operating hotels and not an especially beautiful small town in the Pyrenees. The town is full of retirees and supports elderly French people there to take the cure in the Roman baths. We appreciated the AC and the bike room at the Castel hotel. Most people stay for one night en route to another place. We stayed for 4 days using it as a base for a cycling holiday. The housekeeping is done only once a week in the rooms, and the guest laundry machines were broken so we couldn’t use them. Our studio room was small and in need of updating. There were holes in the wall that needed patching. The staff were kind and helpful. The breakfast was good. It was important to reserve for dinner since the restaurant was full every night with locals and guests bringing their dogs. They have a dog named obelisk and welcome all canines."

Hotel Viella

10/10 Excellent

"Totally refurbished and new...bfast superior...employees absolutely proud and keen to serve and help, beyond their requirements. Barthroom refurbished to high standards. As a note, just like Singapore, space is critical and rooms are a bit tight, but that's general in Singapore, HK or mountain places like Vielha, yet plenty of wardrobe space. Thumbs up to Hotel Viella."
