"Great week at this rustic retreat - the house is ideally situated for exploring the Pyrenees. The host Philippe was very responsive, accomodating and gave us fantastic recommendations. The house and outside areas are very comfortable and the pool was really appreciated when the sun came out! We had a very special evening drinking wine in the garden in a thunderstorm storm and hearing the stags bellowing in the garden when the rain stopped. A great area for walking amd wildlife. "We had a great time at the property and was a great bass to explore the area. We drove to Carcassonne which is well worth the drive, we also visited the prehistoric parc which is a lovely drive. Bossot was also worth the drive with stunning views and also visited the zoo. St Girons market on saturdays is again worth a visit, Azir caves and the reptile centre which is probably less than an hour away again is worth the visit. Thank you from all of us "
