"Great hotel "

"The Jupiter hotel is a lovely hotel located on the beachfront of Praia da Rocha. Very friendly and helpful staff. High standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel. We were on half board and the although there was a good range of food options sometimes they were not the tastiest or were lukewarm. Great range of fruit, plenty options of breakfast and always 2 soups and plenty dessert options. The pool was alway immaculate, very comfortable to lie out in or enjoy a drink or food in the shade. A big bar and plenty seating indoors with plenty large screens for watching sport. Good gym and nice looking spa - although we never used it! We would certainly return."

"Great overall, even better than I had expected. Room much better than the photos suggested (quality of linen amongst best ever, in any five-star I've stayed in, and bathroom spotless with constant piping hot water for bath). Pool-side room with direct access from room patio door to pool area was great. No need to worry about noise around pool as not so busy and everyone well behaved! Could go in and out of room to pool and other facilities very easily. Hardly used corridor entrance to room during entire stay. Breakfast buffet excellent, best choice of fruit and pastries, even though cooking station very, very slow, for hot egg dishes. Better to use frying pans rather than hot plate? Bar area outdoor terrace was also very nice in evening sun, but quieter rather than lively. Hotel a bit shabby in places, as over comments have said. They could really enhance pool-side area by putting cushions on recliner (but plenty of recliners and no rush every morning, as not that many rooms) and putting in some new parasols, as look very shabby. Stunning location righty by boardwalk that takes you to all interesting viewing and swimming spots. About a 20 min walk to town centre and restaurants. Quick taxi journey. Spa also great with own outdoor pool. All staff super helpful and friendly. Final tip: this is a super relaxed experience, calm and quiet, with amazing views and walks nearby, but if you're looking for somewhere with more of a buzz / atmosphere, it might not be for you!"

"this is my third time staying here! never any issues, beautiful hotel, beautiful views, amazing breakfast! perhaps could benefit from pool bar being always occupied during busy times to save waiting! otherwise 10/10 ⭐️"
