"So the shower curtain was dirty they need to wash them. Upon checking in getting my car unloaded I went to use the microwave and it didn’t work, no lights nothing. I was there 5 days and finally on the third night he brought a microwave. Which I appreciate, was told they didn’t have extras and there are empty rooms where they are tore up so wasn’t sure why i couldn’t use one of them. My cousin looked at the microwave and its a blown fuse. Water for shower gets hot but let it run for a little. Sheets were stained so I didn’t use was a little afraid to . Plus they didn’t smell clean ( maybe bleach would help) The outside dumpster is over flowing, old stove and mattresses out there. You should get a dumpster. I was offered 2 rooms and the upstairs rooms wall was peeling so I was like no thanks and I had booked a king not 2 queens. Front desk was polite. Definitely need some help getting those rooms done. I ran into another guest and she said the bed was not the best nor the pillows either."

"This location delighted the whole family as we walked inside and saw the thoughtful, classy, yet comfortable decor and all the hidden gems of detail for both the history of location and things like games and books. We loved the simplicity of the stay. The kids were curious about if we'd hear the coffee shop under us, and we did not. Great location and price for being on our way through Chicago (better atmosphere and significantly more affordable than Chicago locations as a stop on our road trip). Kitchen had everything we needed. Very clean."
