Hotel backs on to a beach that is amazing, by far the cheapest hotel on the main strip, freindly attentive staff, very clean and situated in the centre of the main strip. Booked one night. Stayed for 4

No POOL! Очень скромно и запущено.

No POOL! На мой вопрос - а где же бассейн? Был дан идиотский ответ - вон там море, там и купайтесь! Море необорудованное, все очень запущенное, лежаков мало и они обычно поломанные, нормальный есть только один. За кондей требуется доп/оплата 3000 рупий. Холодильника в номере стандарт нет, но хоть разрешили пользоваться холодильником в столовой, но часто его отключали чтобы включить вентилятор. В целом персонал старается помочь, однако руководство недружелюбно. Больше чем на 1 ночь останавливаться смысла нет.

Staff were not helpful. Both manager & chef were on leave. No dinner arranged as restaurant was closed & not informed in advance. WiFi & TV were not working & there was no one to resolve this. Staff don’t know how to respect guests. Overall no value for money.

Great hosts and perfect location

Fantastic little hotel right in front of a great ocean view. Just 5 minutes from city Weligama. The hotel service, Noel and his family was absolute perfect. Highly recommended!

Alle waren sehr freundlich.wir haben auch ein kostenloser Upgrade bekommen.war einfach und sauber aber wir haben deutlich schönere Unterkünfte für den gleichen Preis gehabt. Besitzer waren sehr bemüht. Abendessen war sehr lecker! Strand war traumhaft und menschenleer da wir in November waren (Vorsaison)

Great stay

We were staying at this hotel for one night as we are travelling and we were pleasantly surprised. The staff were welcoming and accommodating on arrival and throughout our stay. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel is situated on the beach with sunbeds available. It was a great overnight stay, we would would definitely come back!

Don't book this hotel!!!

The worst hotel and service ever! Don't stay there!!! The room we got wasn't the same as on the photo when booking. We felt deceived! Check in was also the slowest ever with an older lady who couldn't understand English and wasn't kind at all. We were looking forward to check out. Expensive for what you get!!! We would suggest hotels.com not to have this hotel in their offer!

Zu Hohe Erwartungen

Ich habe mir anhand der Bilder mehr von diesem Hotel erhofft. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und war mit einer Klimaanlage und Deckenventilator ausgestattet. Das Bett war ziemlich hart, mag aber jeder anders. Leider funktionierte das kostenlose Wifi nur an der Rezeption und im Restaurant (dort auch nur schwach). Beim Frühstück war die Inhaberin sehr nett, wirkte aber schon fast aufdringlich. In dem Hotel gibt es einen Tuk-Tuk Fahrer, der uns erzählte es wäre ein Hotelservice. Dieser Service kostete aber mehr als Tuk-Tuks, die wir direkt an der Straße anhielten. Auf dem Weg zum Strand sollte man acht vor den vorbeifahrenden Zügen geben!! Es ist kein Warnhinweis angebracht. Erst dachten wir es wäre ein stillgelegtes Gleis, aber dann brauste auf einmal ein Zug an uns vorbei. Der Strandabschnitt ist sehr sauber und mit Liegen und Schirmen ausgestattet.

Fantastisk beliggenhet på den fineste delen av Bentota Beach. Veldig rolige omgivelser, man er nesten alene på stranden! Personalet var fantastiske, ordnet med alt vi hadde behov for! Virkelig en plass verdt å besøke!

Awesome beach access, average hotel for high price

The key point of this Hotel is its location next to the beach. You leave the hotel garden, pass the train rails and are basically on the beach, which is in wonderful condition (cleanliness, sun beds, etc.) and calm (only few people there, no vendors strolling around). The hotel itself is still in the process of refurbishment. Our room was brand-new refurbished, however, the standard (e.g. bathroom, fridge, AC) was mediocre by best. Additionally, pests were present (mosquitoes, roaches), since you couldn't close windows / doors entirely during the nighttime. That is all fine for a backpacker budget hotel, however, if you charge 75 USD per night like the hotels next to it (Wunderbar Hotel, Amal Hotel), you should meet their higher standards as well. Payment via card wasn't possible, which is ridiculous with that price if you stay some days. I wouldn't recommend it if you get something else in Bentota for the price.

Helt okej, hade kunnat komma tillbaka

Vi blev varmt välkomnade och fick hjälp med väskor, rummet var fint och välstädat. Tyvärr luktade lite konstigt i rummet, vet inte om det var något sorts rengöringsmedel eller fukt, men det gick hur bra som helst att sova. Vi hade ac i vårt rum. Frukost ingick och vi fick snabbt hjälp och frukosten var vanligt turistfrukost som man får i landet. Hotellet är precis vid en järnväg, går några tåg om dagen, men det störde inte oss. Ligger en liten bit från vägen där det är mycket trafik, men det hör man inte alls inne på hotellet.

Mauvais rapport qualité/prix, chambre beaucoup trop chère pour la prestation de l'hôtel (aucune). Vous ne faites qu'y dormir, il n'y a rien d'autre à y faire. Statue du patriarche russe à l'entrée. Mince filet d'eau dans la douche, qui fuit. Bonne literie et bonne CLim. Nourriture qui arrive après 1h d'attente minimum et de la saucisse bas de gamme dans les nouilles à la place des crevettes, poulet et calamars!!! Chambre jamais nettoyée ni serviettes changées même après demande, nous avons fini par passer le balai nous même.Pourtant, c'était notre chambre la plus chère au Sri Lanka!

Hotel is still new and some rooms are still being built. There are much better hotels in Bentota, infact the next door hotel called "Amal villa" is much better with a similar price tag.

Fantastisk strand. Trevlig personal och tillmötesgående. Ok rum, vi hade standard dubbelrum. Dåligt tryck i duschen.Hade dock ingen koll på vår bokning vi gjort. Och vi fick visa bokningsbekräftelse flera gånger. Och betala rummet kontant. Fanns ingen fungerande kortläsare.
