Beautiful spa with lovely outdoor onsen as well. Very attractive Japanese garden with koi pool. Extremely clean with large rooms and lots of amenities. Would happily return to this hotel. Overall, lovely.❤️

Very nice and clean hotel. Great hot spring for relaxation. It is very close to the park. Their dinner taste menu are full of fish plates, kind of overkill but the service was great.

It’s walking distance from Beppu Station. Shopping mall and restaurants are not far from the station. Staffs are very helpful and friendly. The Kaiseki dinner is a nice experience! It’s highly recommended.

This is one of the best experiences I had. I enjoyed the authentic Japanese hospitality. I was greeted and escorted to the lobby. The staff led me to my room showing me all the facilities. The room is spacious and impeccably clean. The area is serene, and the Beppu Park is right next to the Hotel, which I enjoyed in a morning walk.

Hotel with warm and friendly staffs

You will experience how friendly and helpful the staffs are once you entered the hotel. No shoes allowed inside the hotel, makes you feel at home. Private onsen within the hotel. Slight complain will be the road noise at night. Although our unit were not road facing.

Overall, this was a pleasant first-time ryokan experience. I was very impressed with the attention and care provided to my needs, to my luggage, and to the time the staff spent on communicating the offerings of the ryokan. The amount of access to the on-premises hot springs was decent, the dinner meal provided was more than enough for two grown men to handle, and the morning buffet of healthy breakfast items and some local Beppu dishes were great. With the exception of the surprise bathing bill that I had to unexpectedly pay on checkout (maybe I missed it during the check-in explanation), I was overall very impressed.
