Bergamo historic part of town Hotel.

Very beautiful hotel in an historic part of Bergamo. Only negative is the car parking which requires a special pass in advance. Room is spacious, with lots of amenities like a free standing jacuzzi tub and a small sauna. The bar restaurant was also very nice.

Lovely hotel in a great location. The breakfast had a wide choice and the cakes and pastries were excellent. The room was small but had everything needed. Only feedback would be that the aircon didn’t work and the room was very hot without the window being open constantly.

Front desk, bar, and dinner staff were professional, friendly, helpful, and very service-oriented. Only exception was breakfast...a bit of a hectic and crowded food and coffee self-service arrangement with - no obvious line or natural flow so it easily devolves into a mishmash of people going down the tables in different directions, etc. Not a huge deal, but friendly and helpful staff could've eased the human traffic jams and created a pleasant vibe. Instead, their demeanor was sullen - sort of seemed unhappy to be there. When I asked one of them for help because the espresso machine needed emptying of the bin, she seemed annoyed but took care of it right away. Definitely uncharacteristic of the overall experience we enjoyed at the hotel. Comfortable beds and linens, great location for shopping, dining, and walking to the funicular to go up to the Alta Citta. A really great stay.

What a wonderful hotel - beautiful refurbishment and wonderful service. We we loved everything and the service in the bar from Sergio was outstanding - his passion and skill - especially the 7 house negronis can’t be beaten - we will be back
