"The staff were friendly helpful with directions and kind. It is close to everything and has bus service. Unfortunately they charge an unexpected deposit for incidentals we did not see coming and there was no microwave blow dryers or tv with all channels we had one channel. Overall we enjoyed the people of SOMA the smiles and helpful nature and kindness are appreciated. We also love the historical photos of rescues lifeguards and coast guard timeless. We appreciated the charger loan which we returned on the 24th. "

"Staff were friendly and attentive. The room was very nice and clean. The pool is next to the freeway, down a set of stairs. It is very nice, has good seating, however it is below the dumpsters for the kitchen and the lids for the dumpster were open and hanging over the lounge chair area. We were concerned we'd end up under a bag of trash while laying out."

"We stayed there for two days. The room was clean. Lobby nd lunch menu were good. The cost was very reasonable in light of being close to the beach. Parking per day was $57 (self-park)."

"The hotel location is great. The housekeeping is daily, which is also great. They were responsive with towel requests. The breakfast has excellent options. All day coffee and tea! The only part for us lacking was the check-in. We arrived at 12pm. We had flown at 6am out of NY. When we arrived we left our bags as no rooms were available. When we returned a few hours later there were two people at the desk. The woman didnt speak with us, acknowledge us or help us, but helped people behind us while we waited for the gentleman who had told us earlier to come back in a few hours. He didn’t remember us and we went through check in all over again. "
