"Enjoyed the lovely spacious room. Comfortable bed. Very clean. Although I didn’t use it, the room had a coffee machine and complimentary pods to use. It was only a one night stay, the staff were pleasant but didn’t explore the hotel beyond my room. There’s a mall close by with places to eat and supermarkets too. About a 15 min walk to the airport too, no need for shuttles taxis etc. Great place. "

"We were in room 232 at the very end of the hallway so it was very quiet! The staff were friendly and helpful. We were provided free bus passes to help us get around the town. We would happily stay there again!"

"Beautiful room, everything was clean and the decor is modern. The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful. They were the best. I will definitely stay here again. The only negative, which is small - no iron in the room. However, they do offer laundry service if needed."

"The breakfast was the best breakfast I’ve ever had in any hotel with the taste, range and freshness. The reception staff were super friendly, and all emails from them were very informative. The value for money was incredible and the location was super accessible to the city centre and the airport itself. They had a good range of facilities, including a hairdryer, kettle, towels and a shoehorn, even for the basic single room I stayed in. (Note no conditioner but that is to be expected). I’d stay here again if back in Salzburg! Only note, I’d like a different tea option other than a single earl grey teabag, not a fan! I appreciate the apple left in the room though! "

"Adequate words fail me to describe my delightful experience at the Gerl. By far, the best hotel experience I’ve ever had in Salzburg. I selected the two-room suite for our family; and the king-bed rooms were spacious. Don’t shy away from dining at the Gerl. The breakfast spread was delectable . This world traveler found their Thai Red Curry the best ever. Yes, you read that correctly. The best ever red curry in Salzburg, Austria. There is a laundry room an available for guests. The Gerl will be my home away from home on my next visit to Salzburg."
