I did not realize there was no staff on the premises. I had to go to a nearby sister hotel to get my room key and except for a few questions I had about getting around on transit that I couldn’t ask because of no staff, it was a good stay. Room was nice, clean, and location was great.

This hotel was very conveniently located in Bergen. We walked to the other Magic hotel to get our keys for check in as our mobile esims were not functioning well when we arrived. Many shopping and dining options nearby and close walk to train station and main area of the city.

City Centre Comfort

I collected a key from the nearby sister hotel after arriving late at night and was pleased with the ease of access. The hotel was modern and so comfortable and clean. I did have to return to the other hotel to collect cups to drink tea from as the were none in the room. Highly recommend this great value hotel

Good hotel in excellent place.

All right! Only one thing is that mobile key was not sent to my mobile phone and were needed to get to another building for physical check in . Fortunately it’s not far from the our hotel and reception with friendly and qualified staff is opened 24/7.

The hotel is above a mall and does not have a lobby or any staff on site. They try to use an app for the door keys, but it didn't work so I had to walk to their sister hotel a few minutes away to get a physical key (seemed like that was fairly common). It also gets a bit noisy at night (the hotel has earplugs in the rooms already)

Rocked up and there was a dude in my room who hadn't left. Walked over and spoke to the staff. They immediately put me in a new room, which was fantastic. Cleanliness was pretty good. For a budget room where you just want a bed, it was fine for that. At points the room did smell a bit of sewerage, but I just closed the bathroom door and that dealt with that. Again, it was perfectly acceptable for a quick budget overnight accommodation after hiking for a few days.

A for location which is central and walking distance to all the main sights in Bergen with plenty of restaurants as well. If you’re looking for somewhere quiet though, skip this place. The rooms have no AC so we had to sleep with our windows open and it was really loud as we faced a bus stop - and the garbage trucks rolled by before 6 so there was much banging and clanging as they did there pick up. Bathrooms are also quite small.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location is superb - a 10 minute walk from the train station and a 5 minute walk to the harbour area and light rail station to the airport. The hotel sits above a shopping complex, and a large supermarket on the ground floor (Rema 1000). It was a bit difficult to find, but the mall staff were very helpful in helping me to locate the hotel within the shopping mall. The rooms are very comfortable, have funky decor/lighting and had everything I needed for a good night's sleep. The bed was very comfortable with an amazing duvet and lovely pillows. The shower was exceptional and bathroom was spic and span! The staff were very lovely and offered me free breakfast because of a problem they were having with their app (this was very much appreciated!). The breakfast was so amazing, with so many varieties and options to choose from. Loved the scrambled eggs, bacon, cheeses, yum! Anything you could possibly want for breakfast, they had on offer. Free coffee and tea in the hallway, which was an added bonus. Check-in and check-out were efficient. I appreciated having a large flatscreen tv in my room as well as an electric kettle. There was also a desk, chair, luggage storage bench and hangers. Toiletries included: bar soap, shampoo bottles, and body lotion. 2 bath towels and 2 hand towels provided. Air conditioning was great and wifi signal was strong throughout! Just a superb hotel overall! Staff made my stay exceptionally comfortable!

Fabulous, if you don’t mind raving in bed til 2am

We stayed 4 nights in Bergen. Downside: Two of the nights we were met with loud music from the nightclub below and right outside our window. One night there was music on stage outside too. The club closes at 2am! We may as well have been at the club ourselves as the vibrations and booming music came right through the windows/floor into our room (522). The building itself is an odd mix, with a shopping centre below (quite handy) and the club above, then the hotel rooms (odd place for these!) then another bar above I believe roof level. If you don’t mind loud music or are going to be out partying yourself then this hotel would be great, but not so much for a travelling couple up early for exploring! Another concern was that one day we were met by someone jacking up in the stairwell to the rooms, quite concerning, as this felt as if anyone could get in. We also were not text our digital key password by 3pm and had to chase this with the reception by phone, causing stress and a delay to entering the accommodation after a long journey. Good bits - large bathroom (almost too big, a shame there isn’t a bath for the space), or make the room bigger and add an extra chair/sofa (as there is only one chair). The bed was REALLY comfy! Very clean during our stay. The nights it was quiet (club closed) we had a brilliant sleep. No noise from other rooms/corridor. Great view of mount Floyen.
