This hotel is in a convenient location for walking to see the sights and is close to the ferry to Stavanger and Denmark. The buffet breakfast has anything you can dream of, a spread of an unbelievable amount and variety of food. Eggs several ways, meat, bacon, pastries, bread, crackers, cheeses, fruit, hot and cold cereals, crepes, yogurts, potatoes, smoked salmon, vegetables, tasty juices, etc. The lobby is spacious and has ample stylish seating. Our room had a desk, seating and a view of one of the hills from large windows. This is a very comfortable place to stay with good beds and accommodating staff.

This hotel is perfectly situated a 15 minute, easy walk to the harbor and town center. Super clean, really nice staff, they allow you to store bags there for as long as needed after checkout, and overall a great experience. The only down side is if you want a view of anything other than a roof and other room windows, you may need to specifically request that. I wish I could just make that a half star downgrade from 5.0. We also did not get a chance to try the breakfast.

I took my niece to Bergen for her college graduation present and we stayed at this hotel. It was within walking distance to the city center and all the fun attractions. The breakfast was amazing and the staff was wonderful. We had a great time.

My wife and I were left stranded when our hotel, elsewhere, was closed. The staff were very helpful helping us find temporary accommodation nearby and then we returned for one night. A great hotel, if only we had booked here to start with!
