This hotel is perfectly situated a 15 minute, easy walk to the harbor and town center. Super clean, really nice staff, they allow you to store bags there for as long as needed after checkout, and overall a great experience. The only down side is if you want a view of anything other than a roof and other room windows, you may need to specifically request that. I wish I could just make that a half star downgrade from 5.0. We also did not get a chance to try the breakfast.

I took my niece to Bergen for her college graduation present and we stayed at this hotel. It was within walking distance to the city center and all the fun attractions. The breakfast was amazing and the staff was wonderful. We had a great time.

My wife and I were left stranded when our hotel, elsewhere, was closed. The staff were very helpful helping us find temporary accommodation nearby and then we returned for one night. A great hotel, if only we had booked here to start with!

The Scandic Bergen city hotel was a good experience all around. It’s in a good location within walking distance of most of all the great things to see and do in Bergen, a colorful city with centuries of history. The hotel, the lobby, the dining area and the room are modern, clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet had a nice variety of good food. This was one of our best stays in Europe. Thank you.

Even with the ongoing strike affecting the hotel, they manage to meet their guests with a smile and a pleasant tone and are very accommodating. The breakfast buffet was a little reduced due to the situation, but absolutely very good and the selection was good. All kudos to the staff who ensured that the guests did not notice too much of the ongoing strike.
