"This hotel was further from Cochem than we hoped for. I booked two rooms for one night at least four months in advance requesting large windows that open. We got one room with a very tiny window only, and one room with a medium size window. The staff was very nice and apologized for not meeting my request saying "they didn't know how this happened". "Such a special place! The inn is right in town with plenty of restaurants nearby. It was within walking distance from the train station. The breakfast was lovely, and the owners were warm and welcoming, just like everyone we met in town. For the area, we enjoyed the river cruise, and a two-night stay was perfect for an introduction to incredible Bacharach."
