"The hotel advertised air conditioning, but unfortunately we found out after arriving that it was only available in certain rooms. Our room was extremely hot, which made it very difficult to sleep. The front desk attendant was very kind and provided us with additional fans, but unfortunately they didn’t make much of a difference. After traveling for over 10 hours, we were really looking forward to getting some rest, so it was a disappointing and uncomfortable way to start our trip."

"Die Übernachtung im Rittersaal war eine einzigartige Erfahrung, super authentisch und liebevoll gestaltet. Die 80 Stufen sind anstrengend aber es lohnt sich definitiv. Auch das englische Frühstück, von den Besitzern serviert, ist ein absolutes Highlight! Man fühlt sich wirklich in die Zeit zurück versetzt, wir kommen definitiv wieder!"

"Wir hatten eine schöne Unterkunft für unsere Kanutour an der Lahn. Die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich, die Absprache zur Schlüsselübergabe lief völlig problemlos und auf unsere Wünsche wurde sogar flexibel eingegangen. Die Wohnung bietet genau das, was Überschrift und Bilder versprechen: eine gemütliche Unterkunft auf dem Hügel, zum nächsten Supermarkt muss man ein wenig laufwillig sein, aber dafür ist die Wohngegend sehr ruhig, man hat eine konfortable Couch zum abendlichen Kartenspielen und...

"Not only do you feel like royalty, you are treated that way too! The furnishings are just as authentic as the castle and every need is fulfilled with respect and beauty. Lee & Cathrin are great hosts! They respect your privacy but are right there to fulfill your needs or have a friendly chat. Breakfast was delicious and reasonably priced. I highly recommend a stop at Castle Hermanstein for an amazing experience!"

"Super friendly staff, well kept room and a cosy restaurant with delicious food. And if you love Christmas, this is the place for you. Most background songs in the restaurant where piano versions of Christmas songs (in July). On the negative side but also was a bit amusing in retrospect was the couple that walked in to our looked room while me and my girlfriend were full on enjoying each other. They politely left though. So all good."

"This was a unique stay that we enjoyed. The castle is still a work in progress so there is construction on the outside going on, but the price for a unique stay was good. We had a lovely room with water, monster drinks (that was different) fruit and treats provided. The bathroom is outside of the room. That was disclosed and we were aware of it, it wasn't a big deal for us. Pros: Unique facility, friendly owners, reasonably priced, clean room, snacks and water provided, good...
