"We have stayed in many VRBOs, and this was one of our favorites. The house was immaculate when we arrived. The pictures in the listing do not do justice for how nice this property is.Mary and Terry were great hosts. They live next door, and are helpful if you need something, but they are not intrusive. We stayed for 10 days over the 4th of July holiday. It was perfect! But, be forewarned, this is an isolated location that is a long way from restaurants and shopping. We stopped in Forsyth and got groceries at the country market. It was not a great grocery store, but had most of what you would need for a few days of meals. We cooked our dinners over the fire pit using a campfire grill that I brought. It was great! We went to Branson twice, it’s about an hour away, and had fun there. Most of our time was spent swimming, snorkeling, fishing, and kayaking on the lake. If you are looking for a laid back vacation where you can unplug from city life, this is the perfect spot. My family is united in giving this property a 5 star rating. We hope to be back!"
