What a stunning location, and a great friendly lodge with excellent food and ambience. Ron was a really great guide to Spion Kop, and also an excellent host at dinner etc. Great stay!

Toll gelegen super Location

Wunderschön gelegen mitten in der Natur, abseits von jeder Straße; super freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service, hervorragendes Essen. Absolut Top. Man erhält vom Eigentümer gute Tipps für Ausflüge und zum Wetter, da sich das doch sehr oft in den Bergen ändert.

Battlefields and sundowner

Cheryl and her staff are fantastic - can't do enough for you. The cabins have everything your need, even rhino spotting on the veranda. Ron, the resident historian has a wealth of knowledge on the Boer war, he made the trip to the battlefield extra special. Great location and great people.

Great place to stay in beautiful surroundings!

We stayed 3 nights in Three Trees Lodge where we relaxed, experienced the Spioenkop Battle tour and went on a game walk in the reserve.

In der Nähe der Drakensberge

Historische Lodge in der Nähe der Drakensberge. Wer eine Bergwanderung oder einen Besuch in einen der Naturparks plant, der sollte eine Fahrzeit von ca. 1 1/4 Std. Fahrzeit einkalkulieren. Die angrenzende Lage an ein Game Reserve bietet Vorteile wenn man auch ein paar Tiere sehen möchte. Die Lodge ist sehr gepflegt, der Service gut, Essen ausgezeichnet. Die Logde hat eine ehrer familiäre Atmoshäre, kein Hotelfeeling. Die Anlage wird als luxeriös beschrieben, dies können wir nicht bestätigen. Das Preis/Leisungsverhältnis ist mittel bis gut.

Warm South African Hospitality

Excellent lodge and we were made to feel very welcome by the owners. Food was some of the best we had in South Africa and the conversation with hosts and guests around the dining tables was superb. Views of surrounding hills and big game in the nearby reserve from our bedroom window were magical.Thoroughly recommend the hotel for a relaxing break in the Drakensburg Mountains.
