Enclosed garden with garden furniture. Private parking for 4 cars. No smoking.. This listed 17th-century wing of a farmhouse has been refurbished in January 2020 with installation of a new kitchen, bathroom suite and central heating with radiators. It is furnished to a very good standard and retains many period features including low beamed ceilings, open fireplace and traditional cottage stairs. Now a commercial livery yard, the farm is in a rural position at the end of a country lane near Breadstone village, close to Berkeley Castle. It provides an ideal base for a holiday visiting Slimbridge, the world famous Badminton Horse Trials, Cheltenham Gold Cup, Cheltenham racecourse, Gloucester and the Cotswolds. Shop 3 miles, pub 2 miles.

We had a wonderful 4night stay in Billow Farm Annexe. Wished it could have been longer. The cottage is warm, comfortable and very clean. Our Newfoundland loved the stone floors and spacious enclosed garden.
Hazel and her daughter were very helpful and kind.
I would certainly recommend Billow Farm and we hope to return in the future.

Das gemütliche Annex hat unsere Erwartungen deutlich übertroffen!Ein wunderschönes, gemütliches und liebevoll eingerichtetes Cottage. Dazu trägt die historische Substanz mit authentischem Flair ebenso bei, wie die detaillierte Einrichtung und die sehr gut ausgestattete moderne Küche.Im tollen private Garten kann man prima relaxen, von der überschaubaren Betriebsamkeit auf dem Hof bekommt man gar nichts mit.Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert.Ausbaufähig ist die WLAN Qualität da auch der normale Handyempfang eher ausbaufähig ist.Aber das würde uns nicht abhalten, jederzeit wieder zu kommen!

Lovely cottage with everything you need, comfy beds, homely living area and new kitchen and appliances. Garden well fenced, and kept dogs in no problem. Quiet location, yet not too far to travel to local towns and walking routes. We walked the owner's fields with dogs on leading and enjoyed lovely views of Gloucester.

Been there several times before and returning in May 2020.
Been there several times before and returning in May 2020. The score of 4 for local amenities were down to the affects of the covid restrictions otherwise normally I'd put 7. But we love the place due to its isolation anyway its a treasure and the lovely owner an absolute gem.
