"The property was very clean and it had everything that we needed. The location was excellent as there were plenty of restaurants and other entertainment locations."

"We were in town for the Woodward Dream Cruise and this was an excellent location within walking distance of Woodward Ave and why we chose it. The apartment was ok. Older building, window AC units. This place could be really nice with a couple upgrades. Better furniture, replace the pillows, more linens, another towel rack in the bathroom working lamps and some maintenance repairs. I saw the broken blinds and bathroom door off the hinges in previous reviews from months ago. I thought for sure...

"Nice place, very clean, and fun with all the Mario related neon lights and furnishings. We had a momentary issue with the door lock (all my fault), but Kalyla was super attentive and responded to us right away on the VRBO app. The apartment is over a diner (open 8am - 8pm), so if you're around during the day you can hear a little noise from downstairs. Otherwise it was a real nice place to stay for our weekend away. Would recommend."

"Great place for a getaway. Great neighborhood. Beds were very comfortable. Very clean. Plenty of space for our party of 5. Only suggestion would be to get a larger shower curtain for the downstairs bathroom - it was a little difficult trying to maneuver the curtain so water wouldn’t get everywhere. The only thing I would change about the place if it were possible is replacing the upstairs tub with something more user friendly for everyone. Those are minor details just for suggestions. We...

"Shu and Christne are wonderful hosts. They checked in several times and reminded me to let them know if we needed anything. The house was very comfortable, and the cozy neighborhood and location were great for what we needed. I would definitely stay here again."

"The property was clean and as decribed. Neighborhood was quiet. Micheal was responsive to all questions. I would definitely stay here again."

"It’s a very nice place. The sheets and beds were very comfortable. I’d say the only thing that could have been better was having boxes of tissues in the house and hand towels in the bathroom. There were towels and washcloths but not hand towels. Other than that everything was good. This has nothing to do with the house but the road construction was absolutely insane. So if you’re in the area staying, give yourself a little time to get where you’re going. I did message our host pointing out a few...

"I love my stay at the Roost . I felt like I was home just in another state. I had the same dish detergent and hand wash I used at home . The bed was so comfortable. Everything was clean and satisfying! Room service for breakfast in the morning. I had a green smoothie with a full breakfast ! Just an overall stellar stay ! Only bad point the temperature in the room would not warm me up enough for those cold Detroit nights !"

"Very comfortable and clean."

"Very much not clean. Looked like someone came through and made the beds but didn’t do any type of cleaning, wallpaper was coming off the walls and the place was really just falling apart. Definitely wasn’t a great place to stay."

"2nd.stay here. Perfect location. Are seems cleaner and less grimy than 2 years ago. Unit was as described with few small issues. Torn curtains. Broken handle in shower and missing batteries in remote. Floor was pretty quiet. Great view and very comfy beds."

"It Was A Great Clean Experience"

"Great place. Great location. Won't be disappointed!"

"Amazing place to stay if you are going to stay downtown area! Worth it! Beautiful historical part and worth it! Thank you one note is drive way is skinny large vehicles be aware"

"The trip was for my wife and her friends. They really enjoyed this day. The property was perfect for them. Close to the arena in downtown. Had a great time"

"Great stay! It was super clean and conveniently located. I mostly just needed a place to shower and sleep but this stay exceeded my expectations. The bed was very comfortable. My only complaint is that the water pressure is weak."

"Everyone was smooth and easy. The stay was comfortable and everything was clean. Thank you!"
