"I should say at the outset that we loved the location which was off the beaten tourist track around 1 hour north of Lisbon. The local beaches around Foz do Arelho are very accessible with a good selection of beachside cafes for lunch or dinner offering great local seafood dishes. Added to that is the proximity to a local indoor go-karting track kept the kids happy - the staff there were fantastic. Unfortunately, we were somewhat underwhelmed by the facilities on offer at the villa. The...

"Lovely home in a really nice resort. It’s a little out of the way from any amenities but enjoyed our stay."

"The house and pool area is well maintained and comfortable. Our only issue was the host made up only a single bed (queen ) with only a single pillow per person. We sleep with (2) pillows each - there were no additional bedding anywhere in the house. Also just a set of 2 towels per person for the week’s stay. We were renting a (3) bedroom property ; the host could have left additional bedding and towels which was the case in the other places we stayed in during this trip."

"We were a group of 10 friends, looking for a accomodation for our surfing vacation. The property is about 20minutes from the beach and surf spots are easy to reach. We recommend to visit Ericeira and Lissabon when you are here. Jos was very helpful - he took a trip from Belgium to Portugal when we had some issues with the electricity! Would recommend the property anytime!"
