Schrank kaputt, starke Abfluss Gerüche, durch gelegene Betten, wir hatten Glück zur Strassenseite, Andre Seite S- Bahn Regionalbahn, sehr laut, Laut Expedia mit Frühstück wurde aber keins angeboten, Rezeption nicht besetzt, nur bei Ankunft weil man anrufen muss. Rechnung nur auf verlangen, Heeeeee ?

Great location but not happy

I have mix feelings because the location was perfect with good connections to the city center via train or bus but I believe the photos show a very nice place which it wasn't for me. Also the bed in our room was advertised as queen size but in reality there were two mattresses in one bed which was very uncomfortable. I paid for breakfast but they didn't have that option on site so they refund me some money and left me with another worry.

Respassa ei ollut henkilökuntaa aamupäivästä. Aamiaista ei ollutkaan tarjolla syyskuussa, vaikka se oli myyty meille. (luvattu korvata?) Junien äänet eivät häirinneet, kun huone ei ollut aseman puolella. Kylpyhuone siisti, paitsi säleverhot kaipaisivat uusimista.

Leider war das Zimmer sehr schmutzig. Bettlaken hatten Flecken und auf dem Toilettendeckel lag ein Schamhaar. Wir hatten mit Frühstück gebucht jedoch wurde uns dann bei der Ankunft gesagt, dass es dort kein Frühstück gibt. Des Weiteren wurde dort überall mit Sky geworben. Wir wollten dann einen Film auf Sky anschauen jedoch ist das System was die dort haben veraltet, weshalb man Filme auf Sky dort nicht ansehen kann.

Very noisy indeed, directly next to Wannsee train station. Room almost same distance from train as a platform. Room very hot. Advertised as room + breakfast, but no breakfast in reality. Decor all a bit tired. No hotel reception, you have to use adjacent shop. Maybe ok if you are slumming it as a student, not appropriate for business. Photo attached shot from inside room.

Train noise and weak Internet

Wannsee is great, except that the rooms are on top of the train station. Noise, old and the reception hours are inconvenient. The internet is too weak, needed it for work and had to use the cell phone

The hotel is the top floor of light rail train station “Wannsee” hence is very well connected to the lake as well as to the railway downtown. Don’t expect a luxurious room but it’s clean and very reasonably priced, especially for Berlin. Parking is free between 18:00 and 9:00, otherwise free for an hour with a “Parkscheibe” (the blue thingy that should be in your car), but the spots are scarce. However with luck and good timing you can get a spot, especially in the evening. No breakfast, but there are restaurants and a bakery next door. I’m very happy to have stayed there. Sky Cable even enabled me to watch a German football game live. And that was real football, as it’s being played in the whole world except the United States (where it’s called soccer).

Hidden Gem with Italian Food

One should not underestimate the Hotel by its tired looks. It is ideally situated direct at the Railway Station Wannsee, which connects the South of Berlin with the rest of the country. The reception on 1st floor is friendly and usually even more often present than announced on the door. No lift, no helping hand, luggage can be an issue, especially as there is hardly any parking in front of hotel. The rooms offer basic comfort, are clean and serve the purpose of a business traveller, full hi-speed wifi, TV and a clean bathroom. The absolute plus is the Italian Restaurant inside the Hotel, which offers fantastic food and saves you any trip anywhere else. And if Italian is not your scene, just 400m down the road is Loretta, a traditional German Restaurant, Bar and Beer Garden.

Es war die Nacht nicht möglich einzuschlafen. Zuerst haben 8 Polizisten auf dem Bahnhof einen Imigranten verhaftet und gefühlt ist die ganze Nacht die S-Bahn über 3 defekte Schwellen gefahren. Sollten wir noch einmal einchecken, dann versuchen wir es mit der Seite zur Straße. Bei diesem Bahnlärm freut man sich auf den Straßenlärm. Die Ausstattung und Einrichtung war Anfang der 90er. Die Betten waren okay. Im Bad Zimmer-Nr 12 muss der Toilettendeckel befestigt werden. Man hätte mit Sky sparen und in bessere Fenster investieren sollen.

Ideal Location for Business Travels

Conveniently located direct at the railway station, the position makes up for the occasional vibrations of passing trains. The rooms are spacious and 3-star basic, but somehow one does not miss anything except for maybe some decent amenities in the bathroom. But instead the powerful multi-spray shower head and the towel heater made up for it. The central heating worked well and the bedding was adequate. Check-in and check-out were a breeze and the whole hotel as well as the room extremely clean! The experience was complete with the free Hi-Speed WiFi and makes this property highly recommendable for business travellers on a tight schedule....

Heruntergekommenes Hotel am Wannseeer Bahnhof

Das Hotel welches eigentlich durch die Bahnhofsnähe gut gelegen ist, hält nicht was es verspricht. Dreckige Zimmer, zusammengewürfelte Möbel und ein unfreundlich und nicht sehr zuvorkommendes Personal hat mich schnell zu der Entscheidung kommen lassen das ich dieses Hotel nicht weiterempfehle. Der Preis ist für dass, was man geboten bekommt nicht gerechtfertigt.

Einfach - für unsere Zwecke ausreichend

Die Pächter haben wohl vor Kurzem gewechselt und sind grundsätzlich bemüht. Die junge Dame mit den langen dunklen Haaren an der Rezeption war sehr nett und versuchte ein Frühstück bzw Care-Paket vor den offiziellen Frühstückszeiten zu organisieren, das scheiterte dann aber am Eigentümer. Letztlich ist nebenan ein Bäcker bei dem man sich auch selbst versorgen kann. Dumm nur, dass wir somit doppelt fürs Frühstück gezahlt haben. Die Größe des Familienzimmers (Nr:1= 1 Doppelbett, 1 Einzelbett) war angemessen, wenn man das Bad ausklammert. Aber auch hier waren unsere Ansprüche niedrig und konnten nicht enttäuscht werden. Glück hatten wir, dass an dem Wochenende der S-Bahn Verkehr eingeschränkt war und es somit recht ruhig war. Das italienische Restaurant unter unserem Fenster hat moderate Öffnungszeiten, das haben wir nicht als Beeinträchtigung empfunden.

Wie eine Bahnhofhalle

Stickige Luft in den Zimmern. Die nach hinten liegenden Zimmer haben unmittelbaren Sicht und hörkontakt zu den Bahnsteigen. Hier ist schlafen nicht möglich. Das Frühstück für 9,50 Euro ist völlig überteuert. Es war schmutziges Geschirr im Speisesaal. Die Sauberkeit auf den Zimmern hingegen war in Ordnung. Wir werden dieses Hotel nicht mehr buchen.
