Friendly staff. Good place to travel on a budget. You will be far away from most sights so plan to take transport but overall good!

Nice old school place to stay. We booked a double bed room and we don’t mind two single beds being pushed together to facilitate this however both beds were completely different heights and had thick bed frames that meant they did not meet in the middle and there was a large gap. The pillows were basically non existent as they felt like they were more full of air than any sort of pillow material which was very uncomfortable to sleep with. Unfortunately gave us very stiff/sore necks for the following 3 days of our trip. Otherwise the staff were lovely, and the room was cosy. Very close to everything which was great to get around and see things.

Avoid this Hotel!

We stayed here bc of the location. Room was very small and dirty. TV didn't work, so someone tried resetting it for 2 hours. The next day, the janitor "fixed" it but it still didn't work. I tried to unplug it and replug it & the TV just came off its 1mm thick plastic holder. When we notified the old Russian guy at reception, he started yelling and wouldn't stop. He claimed we had done "real damage", he "would call the police", it would take "3 hours to fix". He said there were signs saying "Don't Touch" (there weren't). We left him standing there yelling. The next morning he had calmed down, but when I said I didn't like how he had treated us, he started yelling the same BS. He's at reception all the time, so there's no avoiding him.

nice place, good price

Very nice neighborhood, in an old building with interesting architecture. I had a quiet room in the back of the building, but the walls were a little thin, so you could hear your "neighbors"

Friendly staff. Very clean room. Ten minute walk from the old west Berlin centre. Mattress was hard, I found it uncomfortable & difficult to sleep

On the second day there were any towels, I went to ask and they forgot to bring them, so I had to go ask again. And the third day the big towel wasn't clean. Also they charge you for not arriving for check in between 8 and 10 hours in the morning, even when the person at the reception is there. Can't understand why is that in a hotel.

Das Personal am Empfang war sehr freundlich..leider wurde aus 1!Woche nur 1!Übernachtung und meine Pläne durch den Streik abgebrochen..war leider für 1!Nacht eine Teure Sache aber leider nicht zu ändern. Würde ich trotzdem gerne weiter Empfehlen.

Zimmer zur Hofseite war ruhig im Stil der 90er Jahre. Das Frühstück welches wir dazu genommen haben unabhängig von der Buchung mit 12€ pro Person. Da stimmte komplett dasdas Preis/Leistungsverhältnis nicht.

An sich ein super süßes Hotel und ein sehr schöner Altbau. Vor Allem das Treppenhaus, der alte Aufzug und der Essbereich haben einen tollen nostalgischen Charme. Schade, dass man diesen bei der restlichen Einrichtung nicht beibehalten hat- denn die Zimmereinrichtung wirkt eher lieblos zusammengewürfelt. Jedoch waren Zimmer und Bad sehr sauber. Leider gingen durch unser Zimmer senkrecht durch die Decke sehr dicke Rohre, die durchgehend heiß waren, was einen Effekt wie eine Heizung, die durchgehend vollgas läuft, hatte. Daher fühlte es sich Ende April an wie im Hochsommer. Wir mussten die ganze Zeit das Fenster offen haben, leider war es aber im Innenhof bis 2 Uhr nachts sehr laut (vermutlich von der Pizzeria nebenan), sodass wir nicht wirklich erholsam schlafen konnten.. Auch war es sehr hellhörig, sodass man nachts Zimmernachbarn bei gewissen Aktivitäten sehr deutlich hören konnte. Würde man dem Hotel jedoch mit ein wenig Liebe den Charme, den der Rohbau schon bietet noch untermalen, wäre das eine ganz tolle Investition!

Die Lage ist unschlagbar! Alt-Berliner Pension mit entsprechendem Charme, für die man Rustikalität mitbringen sollte. Wer Kempi will, muss auch dort hingehen.

Zimmer deutlich größer als erwartet & überraschend gute Lage- nur ein paar Stationen vom Hbf entfernt Dafür aber nachts Lärm im Innenhof und die Putzfrau öffnet einfach die Zimmer ohne zu klopfen...
