We arrived very early but were still able to check in and the staff were very friendly. Room was nice, clean and perfect for what we needed, had tea and coffee and tv and air-con, wifi everything you need. Location is great, only a 1 minute walk to trams and underground stations that can bring you all over Berlin. Also lots of places to eat and drink a stone’s throw from the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel for the staff and location.

I was a solo female traveler and the staff was very welcoming and helpful . The hotel was near many places to eat and not noisy at night. The one compliant I did have and I never said anything about - was the AC made a loud noise that was a bit disruptive for my sleep (rm 606) they should get it looked at - but when I checked out there was no one to chat with about it.

Great place to stay in Berlin!

This place is newly renovated, and although the rooms are small, they are well thought out, so it didn’t feel too cramped. The area is really great with so many restaurants! And it’s pretty close to many sites. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We would stay again.

Highly recommend Hotel Mani

The staff who I interacted with were wonderful, very accommodating and always helpful. The room was very comfortable, bed great - shower lovely. The location was ideal close to everything, easy access to public transportation, and nice neighborhood feel full of cafes and restaurants just steps away from the main street.

Berlin is never bored

We spent a nice extended weekend with my wife and our German pointer dog on August 19-21, 2023. We were already in this hotel in 2020. The service was very nice and polite. Comfortable beds and clean room. Great location in the Mitte district. Safe and quiet. Opposite the shop, lots of good restaurants and breakfasts nearby. We traveled by car and had the option of parking in the hotel garage. The parking lot is small and a bit tight but every driver should manage. I would recommend booking a parking space in advance as parking on the street costs 4 euros per hour. We will definitely return to Main by Amano. I highly recommend. I stayed here 10 years ago and it was much nicer. Some of the staff were friendly and helpful, others seemed bothered. The location and aesthetics were great, but the room was TINY even by European standards. The AC and refrigerator did not work, and the portable AC was also not very effective. I was unsure of whether to give a 3 or 4 star rating until I stayed at their sister property, Mio, in Munich. Mio was so much nicer and not much more expensive.
