Moxy Berlin had a nice and lively atmosphere at the reception and bar space while quite in the bed room floors. We loved the location being near the east side gallery (Berlin wall) and Holtzsmarkt

Cleaning service enter the room without knocking

The cleaning staff entered our room while we were in bed without knocking on the door first - it was a very uncomfortable surprice laying in bed and suddenly the door handle goes down and the door opens.

+ Female receptionists are friendly and speak German + Fairly good nights sleep + big room + welcome drink + luggage storage after check out - male reception staff strictly avoid speaking German. This is inacceptable in the hospitality sector - Six different reception staff with 24h, young inexperienced not well trained (avoiding of male staff to speak German and straight blocking instead of being respectful and apologising, he wasn't even trying to speak German) - outdated furnishing, dark carpet in 2025!!!! - outdated interiour - huge construction site - area is not nice - housekeeping is poor. I stood in the shower with no shower gel since the fixed bottles were not refilled. This was at midnight after a long day. Had to dress again, walk down to reception since there are no phones, and it took staff some time to find a bottle of shower gel - no amenities, no safe - security questionable since anyone can walk in and use the lift - Gen Z clientele - quite expensive, I wonder how Gen Z can afford a stay here?!?

Stayed one night for a concert at Uber arena, which is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. When we checked in at the Moxy we got a welcome drink. Nice touch! :) The lobby had a cool and qirky vibe. Our room was clean and modern. I was a little nervous at first since there were several train tracks right outside our window and I'm sound sensitive, but the windows must be THICK because the room was so silent. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was really nice. We were so happy with our stay. The connections to the airport and also the city center is great.
