I highly recommend this property. I never write reviews, but this was so spectacular I had to comment. The room was very large by European standards, had a great shower without the half door that so many European hotels have and had a huge soaking tub. The breakfast buffet was a real highlight for us, one of the nicer ones I've seen anywhere. And the hotel staff, especially the concierge, was enormously helpful. He even helped me get a last-minute ticket to the Berlin philharmonic in an incredible seat. The hotel is perfectly situated to see the whole city. Definitely a five-star experience.

Our experience was amazing. We had two rooms one for our teenage boys and one for us. The staff was overly accommodating as they gave us two rooms next to each other. The property is well maintained, centrally located, and within walking distance to the Brandenburg gate.

One of the best in Berlin

Stayed here because it was near to the Philharmonie Berlin where I preformed the same night. Service was fantastic at all departments. The bed was extremely comfortable and lovely Diptyque products in the bathroom. Breakfast was also excellent! The one thing that the hotel could improve is the room service. I wasn’t satisfied at all with the food I ordered for lunch to my room. Lack of flavors and dry chicken for 35 euros. The food arrived after 1 hour and 15 minutes so I had to eat really quick because I had to go to the concert hall for rehearsal. Otherwise the hotel was great!

Wow! What a hotel and experience. Great location to walk to multiple sights. They made us feel so welcome and no ask was too big. Starts with the doormen and just flows through out the entire hotel-they're there to make life easier. We were on our yearly mother-daughter trip and this hotel made it even more special.

When we made the hotel reservations I forget to include breakfast, when I check in in the offer us breakfast and we were only going 18€ and when we check out they charge is 30€ per day !!

As you'd expect the Ritz was a lovely place to stay. We particularly liked the quiet rooms, the excellent bathrooms and the wonderfully comfortable beds. The food and drink is very expensive but we enjoyed the bar food in the Curtain Club on the whole. The staff were all extremely courteous and helpful but numerous small errors occurred with food orders and the bill which we found surprising given the reputation of a hotel like this. It's pretty easy to get around Berlin from here. It is very walkable and we used the trains/underground a lot (though it took us a while to figure them out and signage isn't always obvious). We enjoyed the Gendarmenmarkt on Bebelplatz and the Neues Museum but Spandau and its Christmas market was disappointing. And so few authentic German cafes - I thought I'd be having kaffee und kuchen all day but sadly did not.
